Later that day, local police recovered his abandoned car near his residence in Banani neighborhood and found Ansar's cellphone inside. They have not been seen since. On the tenth anniversary of his disappearance, Netra News, an independent news platform in Sweden, reported on 21 April 2022, that Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), an elite Bangladeshi police unit, had carried out the disappearance. The platform cited leaked confidential documents and internal investigations documents from RAB to reach the conclusion.
Amar Praner Priya is a 2009 Dhallywood Bengali romantic comedy film directed by Jakir Hossain Raju. The film was released on September 20, 2009, on Eid-ul-Fitr and went on to become a box-office success in Bangladesh, primarily noted for its soundtrack & choreography. The film stars Shakib Khan, Mim and Misha Sawdagor, Prabir Mitra, Rehana Jolly, Khaleda Akter Kolpona and many more. The movie is a remake of Telugu language film Aatadista (2008).
Riaz Uddin Ahamed Siddique, commonly known as Riaz, is a Bangladeshi film actor, producer, and television presenter who has appeared in more than 100 Bengali films in genres ranging from romance to action to comedies. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including three National Film Awards and seven Meril Prothom Alo Awards. He portrayed the famous literary character, Shuvro, created by Humayun Ahmed, in Daruchini Dip.

Tamalika Karmakar is a Bangladeshi actress and model. Her notable film roles were in Ei Ghar Ei Songshar (1996), Kittonkhola (2000) and Ghetuputra Komola (2012). Tamalika won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Kittonkhola. In July 2017, she performed, with Aranyak Nattaydal theatre troupe, in Rarang, on their 180th rendition.

He is also best known for the films Beder Meye Josna (1989), Koti Takar Kabin (2006), and Bikkhov (1994). Babul died on 6 March 2023, at age 60.
Sohanur Rahman Sohan was a Bangladeshi film director and screenwriter, who was best known as the first director of Bangladeshi superstars Shakib Khan. He started his film career as an assistant of director Shibli Sadik. His first film was Biswas Abiswas (1988). He was best known in Dhallywood for directing romantic films. He launched Salman Shah and Moushumi with the film Keyamat Theke Keyamat in 1993 and his Ananta Bhalobasha in 1999 marked a turning point in Bangladeshi cinema by introducing Shakib Khan, who is now one of the biggest superstars in the industry. Other notable films directed by him are Amar Jaan Amar Pran (2008), Poran Jai Jolia Re (2010), Se Amar Mon Kereche (2012) etc. He served as the principal of the Universal Performing Arts Institute.
