"Kingdom of Rust" is the first single from Doves' fourth studio album of the same name. The single was released on 30 March 2009 via Heavenly Records. The 7" single features the exclusive track "Push Me On," which was produced by John Leckie, while the CD single features an edited remix of "Push Me On" by Playgroup. Three limited edition 12" singles featuring remixes by Prins Thomas, Playgroup, Still Going, and The Glimmers were released on 13 April 2009. "Kingdom of Rust" was played for the first time on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show on 2 February 2009. [1] The single debuted on the UK Singles Chart at #28. The song also featured in the 2009 American horror/comedy film Zombieland , in the series 14 Bolivia Special and series 16 Middle East Special of Top Gear .

The music video for the song, directed by China Moo-Young and starring Neil Newbon, premiered on 11 February 2009. [2] Stereogum posted a free MP3 download of Playgroup's Megamix of "Push Me On" (the full-length version) on 9 March 2009. [3]

Originally released on a double A-side single along with "Staying Fat" in May 2004 by Moshi Moshi Records, it was re-released as a regular single in the United Kingdom by Wichita Recordings on 25 April 2005. Look Me in the Heart

"Look Me in the Heart" is a song by recording artist Tina Turner. It was written by Billy Steinberg and Tom Kelly and produced by Dan Hartman for her 1989 Foreign Affair. Released as a single in 1990, it reached number 23 on the Irish Singles Chart and number 31 in the United Kingdom. In the United States, it reached number 8 on the Adult Contemporary chart. Kingdom of Rust is the fourth studio album from British indie rock band Doves. The album was released on 6 April 2009 in the UK via Heavenly Recordings. Kingdom of Rust was met with generally positive critical acclaim, and entered the UK Albums Chart at number 2. Two singles were released from the album: the title track, released a week prior to the album in March 2009, which charted at number 28 on the UK Singles Chart; and "Winter Hill", released in July 2009, which became the band's first single not to chart in the top 100.

"Winter Hill" is the second single from Doves' fourth studio album Kingdom of Rust. The single was released on 20 July 2009 via Heavenly Records. The song is one of three songs recorded during the album sessions produced by John Leckie. The radio edit of "Winter Hill" features a new mix by David Bascombe. In a track-by-track discussion with NME, Doves said that the song is about Winter Hill near Bolton, and that the track had been "hanging around since Lost Souls but we've not worked on it before...it just kept knocking on our door." "Winter Hill" was released as a limited edition 7" vinyl single, with the exclusive new "Dylanesque" B-side "Brazil." Three limited edition 12" singles or two separate digital download-only sets feature exclusive remixes of "Jetstream" and "Compulsion" by Sasha, Hans-Peter Lindstrøm, and Andrew Weatherall. "Winter Hill" became the band's first single not to chart in the top 100 of the UK Singles Chart on its week of release. It does not appear on their 2010 best-of album The Places Between, although its video is included on the accompanying DVD.

"Dominos" is the first single from The Big Pink's debut album A Brief History of Love. "Dominos" was released as a digital download and on 7" vinyl on September 7, 2009, a week before the release of the album. The song was co-produced by the band and record producer Paul Epworth, and mixed by Rich Costey. In their native United Kingdom, the song peaked on the UK Singles Chart at #27 and #10 on the Irish Singles Chart in the Republic of Ireland. The single's B-side, "She's No Sense", features vocals from Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine.

The album encompasses the band's entire career, collecting from their 2000 debut album Lost Souls, 2002's The Last Broadcast, 2005's Some Cities, and their 2009 album Kingdom of Rust, as well as an assortment of EPs and singles. The compilation was released as a standard single-disc best-of, as well as a deluxe three-disc edition, featuring the best-of album along with a bonus disc of B-sides, rarities, alternate versions, and album cuts, plus a bonus DVD collecting all of the band's music videos from 1998 through 2009. It peaked at #12 on the UK Albums Chart.
