Kirby Moore is an American football coach and former player who is the offensive coordinator of Missouri Tigers

Early life and playing career

Moore grew up in Prosser, Washington and attended Prosser High School. He was a four-year starter for the football team, which was coached by his father. [2] Moore was named the Washington 2A Player of the Year as a senior after catching 131 passes for 2,126 yards and 34 touchdowns. [3] He finished his high school career with 304 receptions for 4,909 yards and national high school record 95 touchdowns. [4]

Moore followed his older brother Kellen and played college football at Boise State for five seasons. [5] He caught 21 passes for 242 yards and two touchdowns as a freshman. Moore redshirted his true sophomore season. [6] He had 22 receptions for 247 yards with one touchdown as a redshirt sophomore. [7] Moore was the Broncos' second-leading receiver during his redshirt junior season 36 receptions and 368 receiving yards. [8] He missed half of his redshirt senior season to a foot injury. [9] Moore finished his college playing career with 115 receptions for 1,137 and six touchdowns in 45 games played. [10]

Coaching career

Moore began his coaching career as a wide receivers coach at the College of Idaho when the school revived its football program in 2014. [11] He was hired as an offensive graduate assistant at Washington the following season, reuniting him with former Boise State head coach Chris Petersen. [12]

Moore was hired as the wide receivers coach at Fresno State in 2017. [10] He remained on staff after head coach Jeff Tedford resigned and was named passing game coordinator in addition to wide receivers coach by new head coach Kalen DeBoer. [13] Moore was promoted offensive coordinator in December 2021 after DeBoer left Fresno State to become the head coach at Washington and Tedford was re-hired. [14]

On January 4, 2023, Moore was hired as offensive coordinator for the University of Missouri, [15] serving under head coach Eliah Drinkwitz. On December 31, 2023, the University of Missouri announced a contract extension for Moore through the 2025 football season which included a pay raise to $1.5 million for the 2024 season. [16]

Joel O. Filani is a former American football wide receiver, and is the current wide receivers coach for the Washington State Cougars Football Team. He was selected by the Tennessee Titans in the sixth round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He played college football at Texas Tech.

The 2008 Boise State Broncos football team represented Boise State University in the 2008 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Broncos played their home games at Bronco Stadium, most famous for its blue artificial turf surface, often referred to as the "smurf-turf". The blue turf was new for the 2008 season, as the old Astroplay surface was replaced by Field Turf. The Broncos won the Western Athletic Conference championship and were one of only two teams to finish the 2008 regular season with an undefeated record. However, the Broncos were unable to finish the season undefeated after losing 17–16 to #11 TCU in the Poinsettia Bowl.

He played college football for the Boise State Broncos, where he set the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) record for quarterback wins. Moore spent the majority of his professional career from 2012 to 2017 as a backup, only seeing playing time with the Dallas Cowboys in 2015. After retiring as a player, Moore began a coaching career and became the Eagles' offensive coordinator in 2024.

The 2009 Boise State Broncos football team represented Boise State University in the 2009 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Broncos played their home games at Bronco Stadium, most famous for its blue artificial turf surface, often referred to as the "smurf-turf". They completed the regular season undefeated (13–0), their second consecutive unbeaten regular season and fourth in the last six years, and won the WAC title for the seventh time in the last eight years. The Broncos capped their season with a showdown against fellow unbeaten TCU in the 2010 Fiesta Bowl, which marked the Broncos' return to the site of the game that put the program on the national sports map, the 2007 Fiesta Bowl. With their 17–10 win, the Broncos avenged a loss to the Horned Frogs in the previous season's Poinsettia Bowl, and became only the second team in Division I FBS history to finish a season 14–0, after Ohio State in 2002. The Broncos finished ranked #4 in the Associated Press and USA Today coaches poll for their highest ranking in school history to finish a season.

They entered the 2010 season with winning streaks of 14 games overall and 25 games in regular-season play. This was the Broncos' final season as a member of the Western Athletic Conference, as the school announced on June 11, 2010, that it would leave the WAC for the Mountain West Conference effective July 1, 2011.

Nate Potter is an American football coach and former player who is currently the co-offensive coordinator and tight ends coach for the Boise State Broncos. He played college football as an offensive tackle also for the Broncos, where he was recognized as a consensus All-American. He was selected in the seventh round of the 2012 NFL draft by the Arizona Cardinals. Potter appeared in 21 games over two seasons before the Cardinals released him at the end of the 2014 preseason, after which he began his college coaching career.

The Broncos were led by head coach Chris Petersen, winner of the 2010 Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year Award, and played their home games at Bronco Stadium. This season was Boise State's first in the Mountain West Conference after spending the previous ten years in the Western Athletic Conference. They finished the season 12–1, 6–1 Mountain West play to finish in second place. They were invited the Maaco Bowl Las Vegas for the second consecutive year where they defeated Arizona State 56–24.

Bryan Dale Harsin is an American football coach who was most recently the head coach for the Auburn Tigers. Prior to coaching at Auburn, he coached the Boise State University Broncos from the 2014 season through the 2020 season where he posted a 69–19 overall record. He began his head coaching career at Arkansas State University for the 2013 season. Harsin was the co-offensive coordinator at the University of Texas for two seasons. Before leaving for Texas in 2011, Harsin was an assistant at Boise State for 10 seasons, the last five as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
