Jesse Bobbit is an American college football coach. He is the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach for Washington State University, a position he has held since 2025. He also coached for Bellevue West High School and South Dakota State. He played college football for South Dakota State as a linebacker.

Playing career

Bobbit grew up in Palatine, Illinois and attended Palatine High School. [1]

Bobbit played college football at South Dakota State and was a starter at linebacker for his final three seasons. He was named second-team all-Missouri Valley Football Conference as a senior after making 110 tackles. [2]

Coaching career

Bobbit began his coaching career in 2017 as an assistant at Bellevue West High School in Bellevue, Nebraska. After two years at Bellevue West he returned to South Dakota State as a graduate assistant. Bobbit spent one season on the Jackrabbits' staff before being hired in the same role at Washington State. [3]

Bobbit was hired as the safeties coach at South Dakota State before the start of the 2022 season. [4] He was promoted to defensive coordinator in 2023. [5]

In January 2025, Bobbit followed South Dakota State head coach Jimmy Rogers and returned to Washington State to become the new defensive coordinator and linebackers coach. [6]

Paul Casey "Gus" Bradley is an American football coach who most recently served as the defensive coordinator for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). He came to prominence as the defensive coordinator for the Seattle Seahawks from 2009 to 2012, where he was the original playcaller of the team's Legion of Boom secondary. Bradley later served as the head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars from 2013 to 2016. Following his dismissal from Jacksonville, he returned to assistant coaching and became the Colts' defensive coordinator in 2022.

Jed Lance Stugart is an American college football coach and former player. He is currently the head football coach at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri, a position he assumed after the 2016 season. Scott Gregory Hazelton is an American football coach who is currently a special assistant to the head coach at the University of Texas at Austin. He was previously the defensive coordinator at Michigan State University. Hazelton was the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Kansas State University in 2019 before moving to Michigan State. Matthew John Entz is an American college football coach who is the head football coach at California State University, Fresno, a position he has held since 2025. He also served as the head coach at North Dakota State University from 2019 to 2023. Entz took over from the departing Chris Klieman after Klieman led the 2018 North Dakota State Bison football team to the program's seventh NCAA Division I Football Championship in eight seasons. Entz was the defensive coordinator for the Bison from 2014 until his promotion following the 2018 season. He was the linebackers coach and assistant head coach for defense at the University of Southern California (USC) for the 2024 season.

Stacy Collins is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the Assistant Head Coach, Special Teams Coordinator, and Linebackers Coach Boise State University. Collins served as the head football coach at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology from 2012 through 2015 and Special Teams Cooedinator at Penn State University.
