Kiribati made its Paralympic Games debut at the 2024 Games in Paris. [1] The island nation had originally planned to debut at the 2020 Games in Tokyo but withdrew due to COVID-19 concerns. [2] [3]

The Kiribati National Paralympic Committee is the National Paralympic Committee representing Kiribati. The organization became full members of the International Paralympic Committee in October 2019. Kiribati was supposed to make their debut at the Summer Paralympics in the 2020 edition in Tokyo. However the country withdrew due to travel restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Kiribati debuted at the 2024 Games in Paris.

Praveen Kumar is an Indian Paralympic athlete from Uttar Pradesh. He qualified to represent India at the 2024 Summer Paralympics at Paris, his second Olympics.

Harvinder Singh is an Indian paralympic archer from Haryana. He won a bronze medal in the men's singles recurve archery at the 2020 Summer Paralympics. It was the first ever Paralympic medal in archery for India. He qualified to represent India at the 2024 Summer Paralympics at Paris, his second Olympics.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Sport climbing at the 2024 Summer Olympics</span>

Competition climbing at the 2024 Summer Olympics took place from 5 to 10 August at Le Bourget Sport Climbing Venue in Saint-Denis, returning to the program for the second time since the sport's official debut three years earlier in Tokyo 2020. The total number of medal events was doubled from two in the previous edition because the boulder-and-lead tandem had been separated from the speed format. Furthermore, the number of climbers increased from 40 to 68.
