Kiss Alive 35 is a series of 2 CD live albums, each containing a recording of the complete set from a European show on the KISS Alive/35 World Tour from 2008. The second set of recordings from the North American leg of this tour was released in 2009.
The discs are recorded and distributed through Concert Live. There is a limited run of 1500 CDs for each recorded show. The setlists differ slightly between shows, but they are mostly made up of tracks from their 1975 live album, Alive!. This is the first album cover to feature Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer in Kiss makeup. All of the Alive 35 albums are now out of print. Some of the compilations are sold out as well.
A second North American leg of the tour was planned for Fall/Winter 2009. These shows were available as well, much like the Concert Live discs, except they were released by Concert Online. They are available on a 2-CD set as well as on an exclusive leather wristband USB flash drive in 320 kbps MP3 format. The CD cover features all four current members in their new costumes, which had debuted at the start of this leg of the tour. The tracklist for this leg, in addition to including many songs from the previous Alive 35 shows, also includes some songs from their 2009 studio album Sonic Boom .

The second leg of the tour has seemingly eliminated "I Was Made for Lovin' You" in favor of "Modern Day Delilah" and has also added "Watchin' You" to the standard setlist. For several dates, starting with the show in Montreal on October 1, the opener was "King of the Night Time World", and "Nothin’ To Lose" was dropped in favor of "I Stole Your Love". In Greenville, South Carolina, "Calling Dr. Love" and "Shock Me" was added to the setlist, taking the place of "C'Mon and Love Me" and "Got To Choose".
Thomas Cunningham Thayer is an American musician and songwriter. He is the lead guitarist for the American hard rock band Kiss, performing the role of The Spaceman, a stage persona created by and identified with original Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley. He was also lead guitarist for the band Black 'n Blue.
Kiss is the debut studio album by American rock band Kiss, released on February 18, 1974. Much of the material on the album was written by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, as members of their pre-Kiss band Wicked Lester. Simmons estimated that the entire process of recording and mixing took three weeks, while co-producer Richie Wise has stated it took just 13 days.
"Rock and Roll All Nite" is a song by American rock band Kiss, originally released on their 1975 album Dressed to Kill. It was released as the A-side of their fifth single, with the album track "Getaway". The studio version of the song peaked at No. 69 on the Billboard singles chart, besting the band's previous charting single, "Kissin' Time" (#89). A subsequent live version, released as a single in October 1975, eventually reached No. 12 in early 1976, the first of six Top 20 songs for Kiss in the 1970s. "Rock and Roll All Nite" became Kiss's signature song and has served as the group's closing concert number in almost every concert since 1976. In 2008, it was named the 16th greatest hard rock song of all time by VH1.
Kiss Symphony: Alive IV is a 2003 live album from the American rock band, Kiss, performing with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra (MSO). The arrangements were made by David Campbell, who also conducted the MSO. It is the group's fourth album in the Alive series and first release under Kiss Records and Sanctuary Records.

The song was inspired by an event that took place during Kiss' Rock and Roll Over tour, when he was nearly electrocuted. It was ranked #50 in Guitar World magazine's "100 Greatest Guitar Solos Ever".
The Farewell Tour was a concert tour performed by the American rock band Kiss. It started on March 11, 2000 and concluded on April 13, 2001. It was the last tour to feature original member Ace Frehley.
The Kiss Alive/35 World Tour was a concert tour by Kiss to celebrate Kiss's 35th anniversary. It was the band's first major tour since the Rock the Nation World Tour in 2004. On the tour, Kiss played in New Zealand for the first time since the Alive/Worldwide Tour in 1997, as well as performing in Europe for the first time since the Psycho Circus World Tour. Kiss wore Destroyer-themed costumes for the tour, and on the European leg the majority of the songs played were on Alive!. The tour was highly successful and proved to be Kiss's biggest tour of Europe. This tour marked the first time Kiss visited Bulgaria, Greece, Latvia, Russia, Luxembourg, Colombia, Peru and Venezuela.
Jigoku-Retsuden, also known as Kissology and Kiss Klassics, is a limited-edition CD/DVD set released in 2008 by the band Kiss, exclusively in Japan. The CD portion of the bundle includes 15 re-recorded classic Kiss tracks by the 2008 band line-up.

The discs were recorded and distributed through Live Nation. Some shows were not recorded. In addition, some technical issues prevented the recording of some other dates. The setlists differ slightly between shows.
Sonic Boom is the nineteenth studio album, and the first in 11 years, by the rock band Kiss, released on October 6, 2009. The album was recorded at Conway Recording Studios in Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA and produced by Paul Stanley and co-produced by Greg Collins. The album was the first studio album to be released under the current line-up, consisting of Stanley, Gene Simmons, Tommy Thayer, and Eric Singer. It was also the first studio album to feature lead vocal performances from Thayer and Singer. Stanley stated, "the purpose of this album isn't to let people know that we're still around – it's to let people know we can still knock out anybody who's out there!".
Kiss Sonic Boom Over Europe is a series of live albums, containing a recording of the complete set from a European show on the Sonic Boom Over Europe Tour which began May 1, 2010, in Sheffield, England. The discs were recorded and distributed through Simfy Live. This tour was in support of the band's then-latest studio effort, 2009's Sonic Boom.
The Hottest Show on Earth Tour was a concert tour by Kiss in support of their 19th studio album, Sonic Boom. It is essentially the North American leg of the Sonic Boom Over Europe Tour, itself a continuation of the Kiss Alive/35 World Tour that started in 2008. Kiss also played in Mexico for the first time since 2004. The tour featured both arena and amphitheater shows throughout the United States, plus Canada, and was produced by Live Nation. As with previous concert tours, live recordings of every show were sold at the venue by SymfyLive.
"Let Me Go, Rock 'n' Roll" is a song by the American hard rock band Kiss, released in 1974. It was released as the only single from their second album Hotter Than Hell. "Domino" is a song by the American hard rock band Kiss, released on the band's sixteenth studio album, Revenge, in 1992. The song was written by the band's bassist, Gene Simmons, and it borrows elements from the song "Nasty Nasty", which Simmons had co-written and produced in 1986 with the band Black 'n Blue. The song was released as a single in 1992, with the album's instrumental, "Carr Jam 1981", as its B-side. Despite being performed on only two tours and during their MTV Unplugged appearance, "Domino" has appeared on several of the band's albums.

The Freedom to Rock Tour was a concert tour by the American rock band Kiss. The tour hit secondary markets and smaller cities in 2016. The tour started on July 4 in Tucson, Arizona, marking a return to the city for the first time since 2000. The tour was also the first full scale North American tour for the band since 2014.
