Kris Richard (born 20 November 1994) is a Swiss racing driver currently competing in the TCR Europe Series. Having previously competed in the World Touring Car Cup, World Touring Car Championship and European Touring Car Cup amongst others.
Richard began his career in 2005 in Karting, he continued in karting until 2008. In 2011 he switched to the Formula LO series, he finished the season seventh in the championship standings that year. He continued in the series for 2012, taking a single victory, several podiums and pole positions on his way to finishing third in the standings. [1] For the 2016 season he switched to the European Touring Car Cup, driving a Honda Civic TCR for Rikli Motorsport. [2] He went on to take five victories, 8 podiums and 1 pole position on his way to winning the 2016 drivers title. [3] He also partnered Stéphane Lémeret in one round of the 2016 TCR BeNeLux Touring Car Championship. [4] For 2017 he switched to the Champions, driving a Honda Civic Type R TCR (FK2) for Target Competition. [5]
In October 2017 it was announced that he would race in the World Touring Car Championship replacing Esteban Guerrieri, driving a Chevrolet RML Cruze TC1 for Campos Racing as a prize for winning the 2016 European Touring Car Cup. [6] He earned a second outing with team at the season finale held in Qatar, scoring his first and only WTCC points by finishing sixth in the second race. [7] In 2018 he made a two one-off starts in the 24H TCE Series and in the VLN. After having competed in the Champions in 2017, he switched to the TCR Europe Series for 2018, once again driving for Target Competition, driving a Hyundai i30 N TCR. [8] He later made a wildcard entry into the 2018 World Touring Car Cup race held at the Nürburgring Nordschleife with KCMG, driving a Honda Civic Type R TCR (FK8). [9]

Gordon William Shedden is a British auto racing driver. He last competed in the British Touring Car Championship for the Halfords Racing with Cataclean team. He has previously won the series on three occasions; in 2012, 2015 and 2016, driving for Honda/Team Dynamics each time. He also spent two seasons in the FIA WTCR, from 2018 to 2019, driving for the Audi Sport Leopard Lukoil Team.
Esteban Guerrieri is an Argentine racing driver currently competing in the FIA TCR World Tour for the GOAT Racing Honda team. His early career in single-seaters saw him become Formula Renault Eurocup champion in 2003, finish third in Formula Renault 3.5 in 2010, and claim the runner-up spot in Indy Lights in 2011 and 2012. In the WTCR touring car series, he was the most successful driver in terms of race wins and was overall runner-up in 2019. He also won the Nürburgring 24 Hours in the TCR class in 2020.

The 2018 FIA World Touring Car Cup was the inaugural season of the World Touring Car Cup (WTCR). It took over from the World Touring Car Championship and adopted the TCR technical regulations. It was also the 14th overall season of the series that dates from the 2005 World Touring Car Championship. The change of name and new rules follow the declining interest in the TC1 regulations used by the World Touring Car Championship between 2014 and 2017 and the growing interest among manufacturers in the TCR touring car category.
