The KwaZulu-Natal Inland women's cricket team, also known as the Hollywoodbets Tuskers, is the women's representative cricket team for part of the South African province of KwaZulu-Natal, based primarily in Pietermaritzburg. They compete in the CSA Women's One-Day Cup and the CSA Women's T20 Challenge. [1]

History

KwaZulu-Natal Inland Women joined the South African domestic structure in the 2006–07 season, playing in the Women's Provincial League, finished 5th in their group with four wins from their twelve matches. [2] They joined a team named KwaZulu-Natal in the league, who were later renamed KwaZulu-Natal Coastal. [3] They have never reached the knockout stages of the one-day provincial competition. [1]

They have also competed in the CSA Women's Provincial T20 Competition since its inception in 2012–13. They have also never reached the knockout stages of this competition. [1]

Calvin Peter Savage is a South African professional cricketer who played for the KwaZulu-Natal Inland. In August 2017, he was named in Benoni Zalmi's squad for the first season of the T20 Global League. However, in October 2017, Cricket South Africa initially postponed the tournament until November 2018, with it being cancelled soon after.

The Africa T20 Cup was a Twenty20 cricket tournament organised by Cricket South Africa. It featured a combination of South African provincial teams and teams representing other African countries, including Kenya, Namibia, and Zimbabwe. It ran for four years before being replaced by the CSA Provincial T20 Cup.

Ruhan Pretorius is a South African cricketer. Since 2015, he has played cricket in Ireland, and in 2019 moved to Northern Ireland. In November 2020, he was released by his club, North Down, due to financial reasons. Pretorius will become eligible for international selection through residency for the Ireland cricket team in 2022.

He made his List A debut for KwaZulu-Natal Inland in the 2016–17 CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge on 26 February 2017. He made his Twenty20 debut for KwaZulu-Natal Inland in the 2017 Africa T20 Cup on 15 September 2017.

Eathan Bosch is a South African professional cricketer. He made his first-class debut for KwaZulu-Natal in the 2016–17 Sunfoil 3-Day Cup on 12 January 2017. He made his List A debut for KwaZulu-Natal in the 2016–17 CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge on 12 February 2017. He made his Twenty20 debut for Dolphins in the 2017–18 Ram Slam T20 Challenge on 12 November 2017.

Andile Mokgakane is a South African cricketer. He made his Twenty20 debut for KwaZulu-Natal in the 2017 Africa T20 Cup on 8 September 2017. He made his List A debut for KwaZulu-Natal in the 2017–18 CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge on 22 October 2017.

The 2018 Africa T20 Cup was the fourth and final edition of the Africa T20 Cup, a Twenty20 cricket tournament. It was held in South Africa in September 2018, as a curtain-raiser to the 2018–19 South African domestic season. Provincial side KwaZulu-Natal Inland were the defending champions.

The 2019–20 CSA Provincial T20 Cup was a domestic Twenty cricket tournament that took place in South Africa in September 2019, as a curtain-raiser to the 2019–20 South African domestic season. It was played between the thirteen South African provincial teams, along with Limpopo and Mpumalanga. This was the sixth edition of the CSA Provincial T20 Cup, which was last played in the 2015–16 season. With only domestic teams from South Africa taking part, the tournament returned in place of the Africa T20 Cup, which had been held since 2015.

The 2021–22 CSA Provincial T20 Knock-Out was a Twenty20 cricket tournament that was played in South Africa in September and October 2021. It was the first Twenty20 tournament to be played in the country since Cricket South Africa restructured its domestic setup, and featured all fifteen provincial sides and the national under-19 team.

The CSA Women's One-Day Cup, previously known as the CSA Women's Provincial Programme, is a women's domestic one-day cricket competition organised by Cricket South Africa. The competition currently sees sixteen provincial teams competing in 50-over matches, and has existed, under various names, since the 1995–96 season.

They compete in the CSA Women's One-Day Cup, which they have won three times, and the CSA Women's T20 Challenge.

The South Western Districts women's cricket team, also known as the Six Gun Grill Garden Route Badgers, is the women's representative cricket team for part of the South African province of Western Cape. They compete in the CSA Women's One-Day Cup and the CSA Women's T20 Challenge.
