The CSA 4-Day Domestic Series is the domestic first class cricket competition of South Africa. The tournament is contested by teams from all nine provinces of South Africa.
The CSAOne-Day Cup is the premier domestic one-day cricket competition of South Africa, its matches having List A status. Matches are usually played partly under lights as day-night matches and occasionally get larger crowds than the Test matches.

The Leopards is a South African professional rugby union team that participates in the annual Currie Cup tournament, currently playing in the First Division, as the representatives of the North West Province. Their home ground is Olën Park in Potchefstroom. The union was formed in 1920 and was originally called Western Transvaal.
The Six Gun Grill Western Province is a first-class cricket team from the Western Cape province within the domestic cricket structure of South Africa. A Western Province team has played top-class cricket since the 1890s, including the franchise era team of Cape Cobras that existed between 2005 and 2021. The current Western Province team was re-formed for the 2021/22 season after the previous franchise structure was disbanded following CSA domestic reorganisation. Whereas many teams opted to keep their former franchise brands, Cape Cobras elected to return to their traditional name.

Northern Cape is a first-class cricket team that nominally represents the South African province of Northern Cape in the CSA Provincial Competitions. The team is selected and supported by Northern Cape Cricket and plays its home games at the De Beers Diamond Oval in Kimberley.
Easterns has been playing first-class cricket in South Africa since October 1991, and List A cricket since October 1989. For the purposes of the SuperSport Series, Easterns has merged with Northerns to form the Titans. Eastern Transvaal was spun off from Northern Transvaal at a meeting in Actonville, Benoni. Easterns was called Eastern Transvaal from October 1989 until February 1995, changing its name after the Transvaal became Gauteng and a new province called Eastern Transvaal was formed that excluded East Rand territories that were part of the Eastern Transvaal cricket team. Northerns has played first-class cricket in South Africa since December 1937. Its territory is the area north of Johannesburg, and it includes Pretoria.

He made his Twenty20 debut for North West in the 2017 Africa T20 Cup on 1 September 2017. He made his first-class debut for North West in the 2017–18 Sunfoil 3-Day Cup on 2 November 2017.
Gregory Nkale Mahlokwana is a South African cricketer. He made his List A debut for Northerns in the 2016–17 CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge on 12 February 2017. He made his Twenty20 debut for Northerns in the 2017 Africa T20 Cup on 1 September 2017. He made his first-class debut for Northerns in the 2017–18 Sunfoil 3-Day Cup on 14 December 2017.
Luke Philander is a South African cricketer. He made his Twenty20 debut for Western Province in the 2017 Africa T20 Cup on 25 August 2017. Prior to his Twenty20 debut, he was part of South Africa's squad for the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He made his List A debut for Western Province in the 2017–18 CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge on 26 November 2017. He made his first-class debut for Western Province in the 2018–19 CSA 3-Day Provincial Cup on 17 January 2019.
Shane Dadswell is a South African cricketer who plays for North-West University in South Africa. In November 2017, he scored 490 runs in a 50-over game, setting a club cricket record for the highest individual score in the format. He made his List A debut for North West in the 2017–18 CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge on 26 November 2017.
The 2021–22 CSA Provincial T20 Knock-Out was a Twenty20 cricket tournament that was played in South Africa in September and October 2021. It was the first Twenty20 tournament to be played in the country since Cricket South Africa restructured its domestic setup, and featured all fifteen provincial sides and the national under-19 team.
