The construction of the road to La Chira beach changed the configuration of the beach and the shore, which was previously sandy, was filled with stones.
The Costa Verde Pan-American Complex, formerly the Costa Verde – San Miguel Park, is a sports venue located on the Costa Verde, in San Miguel District, Lima, Peru. It became the venue for the beach volleyball, BMX cycling, road cycling and speed skating competitions at the 2019 Pan American Games and for adaptive cycling at the Parapan American Games. It is currently managed by the Special Legacy Project.
Luis Gálvez Chipoco Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Barranco, Lima, Peru. It is also known as Parque Confraternidad, the name of the public park located there prior to its construction that partially served as the location of Barranco Zoo, the district's zoo from 1947 until its closure in 1970, when its animals were moved to the Parque de las Leyendas in San Miguel.
