Larry Papadopoulos is an Australian mixed martial artist known for his time in Pancrase from 1994 to 1996 and Shooto from 1997 to 2001. [1] [2] He competed in the Middleweight and Heavyweight divisions. [3] Larry is a trainee of Rigan Machado black belt John Donehue, and was one of Pancrase's first Brazilian jiu-jitsu fighters. He is a black belt in BJJ and was a 3 time Australian jiu jitsu tournament champion and competed in the 2003 ADCC under 99kg category.
Papadopoulos founded Spartan Gym, where the some of the first Australian MMA fighters trained at and was the head fighter. He now runs Boxing Works where he teaches MMA, boxing and Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

Mixed martial arts (MMA), sometimes referred to as cage fighting, no holds barred (NHB), and ultimate fighting, is a full-contact combat sport based on striking, grappling and ground fighting, incorporating techniques from various combat sports including boxing, kickboxing and martial arts from around the world. The first documented use of the term mixed martial arts was in a review of UFC 1 by television critic Howard Rosenberg in 1993. The question of who actually coined the term is subject to debate.
Marco Antônio de Lima Ruas is a Brazilian retired mixed martial arts fighter, Brazilian Submission Wrestler and instructor. Ruas was the UFC 7 Tournament Champion, and also competed for the World Vale Tudo Championship (WVC), PRIDE Fighting Championships and the IFL.
Joshua Lawrence Barnett is an American mixed martial artist, submission grappler, professional wrestler and color commentator currently signed to Bellator MMA, where he is expected to compete in their Heavyweight division. Barnett previously competed for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he is a former UFC Heavyweight Champion. In 2003, Barnett won the King of Pancrase Openweight Championship and was a finalist in both the 2006 PRIDE Openweight Grand Prix and the 2012 Strikeforce Heavyweight Championship Grand Prix. They were filming Forrest Griffin at The HardCore Gym for his fight against Stephan Bonnar in the finals of season 1.
