Layqa Qullu (Aymara layqa wizard, sorcerer, witch, sorceress, witch doctor, medicine man, qullu mountain, [2] "wizard mountain", also spelled Laica Kkollu) is a 6,166-metre-high (20,230 ft) peak in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia. It is one of the highest peaks in the Illimani massif. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Murillo Province, Palca Municipality, and in the Sud Yungas Province, Irupana Municipality. Layqa Qullu lies south-east of the highest point of the massif, north-west of Link'u Link'u and Silla Pata. [1] [3]

Aymara language native language in South America

Aymara is an Aymaran language spoken by the Aymara people of the Andes. It is one of only a handful of Native American languages with over one million speakers. Aymara, along with Spanish, is one of the official languages of Bolivia and parts of Peru. It is also spoken, to a much lesser extent, by some communities in northern Chile, where it is a recognized minority language.

Cordillera Real (Bolivia) mountain range

The Cordillera Real is a mountain range in the South American Altiplano of Bolivia. This range of fold mountains, largely composed of granite, is located southeast of Lake Titicaca, and east of the Bolivian capital of La Paz, measuring 125 km in length and 20 km in width. Despite the fact that it is only 17° south of the Equator, the Cordillera Real is relatively densely glaciated. This is due to its proximity to the Amazon lowlands with its associated moist air masses.

It is situated in the La Paz Department, Sud Yungas Province, Irupana Municipality, near the border with the Murillo Province, Palca Municipality. Qutapata lies south-west of the mountain Mururata and north-east of the mountain Wila Quta.

Churu (Bolivia)

Churu is a 5,200-metre-high (17,060 ft) mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Bolivian Andes. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Sud Yungas Province, Irupana Municipality, near the border with the Murillo Province, Palca Municipality. Churu lies south-west of the mountain Mururata, west of a small lake named Qillwa Quta, east of the mountain Wila Quta and south-east of the mountain Qutapata.

Ch'iyar Qullu is a 5,112-metre-high (16,772 ft) mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Bolivian Andes. It lies in the La Paz Department, Murillo Province, at the border of the La Paz Municipality and the Palca Municipality. Ch'iyar Qullu is situated south-west of the mountains Jathi Qullu and Q'asiri. It lies at the lake Jach'a Q'asiri, south-west of it.

Ch'iyar Qullu is a 4,875-metre-high (15,994 ft) mountain in the north of the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Larecaja Province, Sorata Municipality. Ch'iyar Qullu lies west of the Janq'u Uma-Illampu massif and north-east of the mountain Achachi Qullu (Achachi Kkollu).

Jukumarini (Murillo)

Jukumarini is a 4,272-metre-high (14,016 ft) mountain in the Bolivian Andes. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Murillo Province, Palca Municipality, near the border with the Sud Yungas Province, Irupana Municipality. Jukumarini lies southeast of Illimani, northeast of the village of Jukumarini (Jucumarini). The peak northeast of it is named K'usill Willk'i.

P'iq'iñ Q'ara is a 5,059-metre-high (16,598 ft) mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Murillo Province, Palca Municipality. P'iq'iñ Q'ara lies southwest of the mountain Pupusani, west to northwest of Ch'iyar Qullu and northwest of Illimani.

Tata Chiyar Qullu mountain in Bolivia

Tata Ch'iyar Qullu or just Ch'iyar Qullu(Charkkollu) is a mountain in the Bolivian Andes, about 4,800 metres (15,748 ft) high. It lies in the La Paz Department, Murillo Province, Palca Municipality. Ch'iyar Qullu is situated near the river Chuqi Quta, south-west of the lake Ch'uxña Quta and north-west of the village of Chuqi Quta (Choquecota, Choquekhota).

Ch'uxña Quta is a lake in the La Paz Department in Bolivia. It is situated in the Murillo Province, Palca Municipality. Ch'uxña Quta lies northeast of the mountain Tata Ch'iyar Qullu.

Silla Pata is a 5,442-metre-high (17,854 ft) mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the La Paz Department, Murillo Province, Palca Municipality. Silla Pata lies in the southern part of the Illimani massif. It is situated south-east of the highest point of the massif and Layqa Qullu and south-west of Link'u Link'u.

Janqu Karka (Larecaja-Omasuyos)

It is situated in the La Paz Department, Larecaja Province, Sorata Municipality, and in the Omasuyos Province, Achacachi Municipality. Janq'u K'ark'a lies south of the Janq'u Uma-Illampu massif, southeast of the mountain Quña Quñani and the lakes Warawarani (Huara Huarani) and Jisk'a Warawarani (Jiskha Huara Huarani).

Piqiñ Qullu

P'iq'iñ Qullu is a mountain in the north of the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia, about 4,875-metre (15,994 ft) high. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Larecaja Province, Sorata Municipality. P'iq'iñ Qullu lies west of the Janq'u Uma-Illampu massif southeast of Sorata.

Wiskachani (Sud Yungas)

Wisk'achani is a 4,088-metre-high (13,412 ft) mountain in the eastern extensions of the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Sud Yungas Province, Irupana Municipality. Wisk'achani lies west of the Illimani massif, northeast of Link'u Link'u.

Wichhu Qullu (Cercado)

Wichhu Qullu is a 4,430-metre-high (14,530 ft) mountain in the Andes in Bolivia. It is located in the Oruro Department, Cercado Province, Paria Municipality. Wichhu Qullu lies southwest of Wayllani and southeast of Kuntur Ikiña.
