Lead Movies 1 (stylized as Lead MOVIES 1) is the first compilation video release by the Japanese hip-hop group Lead. The compilation ranked at #11.
The compilation featured the music videos the group performed for their singles, beginning with Manatsu no Magic in 2002 and ending with Funky Days! in July 2003. It was released on both DVD and VHS.
Lead Movies 1 is the first video release by the Japanese hip-hop group Lead, released on September 18, 2003 under the Pony Canyon sub-label Flight Master. At the time of release, the VHS was on the decline, while the optical disc, namely the DVD, began taking on popularity. [3] [4]
The compilation featured every music video the group had released at that point - "Manatsu no Magic", "Show me the way", "Fly Away" and "Funky Days!". With the exception of "Funky Days!", all of the songs had come from their debut studio album Life On Da Beat ("Funky Days!" would later be placed on Brand New Era ). [5] [6] Along with the music videos, it also contained select live performances, behind-the-scenes makings of the music videos and private videos, showing the members in their everyday lives. [7] [8]
Their following video compilation, Lead Movies 2 (stylized as Lead MOVIES2) would be released in 2005. [9]

Life On Da Beat is the debut studio album by Japanese hip-hop group Lead. It was released on April 23, 2003. The single debuted in the top five on the Oricon charts and stayed on the charts for five consecutive weeks. Bonuses with the album including one of five original stickers, tickets to one of five events, a chance to enter a t-shirt lottery and a leaflet that included a URL to download a special wallpaper.
"Manatsu no Magic" is the debut single by Japanese hip-hop group Lead released on July 31, 2002. The single debuted on Oricon at #18 and remained on the charts for five weeks. The success of the single and their following single, "Show Me the Way", helped them win the Best Newcomer Award during the 44th Japan Record Awards, alongside Day After Tomorrow, Mika Nakashima and Sachika Shino.
