Leanne Smith (born May 28, 1987) is an American World Cup alpine ski racer and specializes in the speed events.
Born in North Conway, New Hampshire, Smith attended A. Crosby Kennett High School. She spent her skiing time on the local mountain, Cranmore, where the founder of the first skiing school in the United States, Hannes Schneider, arrived from Austria. Following Cranmore, she trained with the Mount Washington Valley Ski Team, coached by Kurt Simard. Smith graduated from high school in 2005, and then attended the University of New Hampshire in Durham and raced for the Wildcats in 2006.
After her freshman year at UNH, Smith joined the U.S. Ski Team for the 2007 season, on the developmental team. [1] She moved up to the World Cup team the following season and made her debut in December 2007 in Canada at Lake Louise and finished 23rd in the downhill.
Smith's best World Cup finish is 2nd in a downhill at Val-d'Isère in December 2012. [2] She represented the U.S. at the Winter Olympics in 2010 and 2014, and at the World Championships in 2011 and 2013.

Anja Sofia Tess Pärson is a Swedish former alpine skier. She is an Olympic gold medalist, seven-time gold medalist at the World Championships, and two-time overall Alpine Skiing World Cup champion. This included winning three gold medals in the 2007 World Championship in her native Sweden. She has won a total of 42 World Cup races.
Picabo Street is an American former World Cup alpine ski racer and Olympic gold medalist. She won the super G at the 1998 Winter Olympics and the downhill at the 1996 World Championships, along with three other Olympic and World Championship medals. Street also won World Cup downhill season titles in 1995 and 1996, the first American woman to do so, along with nine World Cup downhill race wins. Street was inducted into the National Ski Hall of Fame in 2004.
Julia Marie Mancuso is an American retired World Cup alpine ski racer, Olympic gold medalist and podcast host. She won the giant slalom at the 2006 Winter Olympics, and was the silver medalist in both downhill and combined in 2010, and the bronze medalist in the combined in 2014. She has also won five medals at the World Championships and seven races in regular World Cup competition. Her four Olympic medals are the most ever for a female American alpine skier.
Chimene Mary "Chemmy" Crawford-Alcott is an English former World Cup alpine ski racer. She competed in all five disciplines: downhill, super G, giant slalom, slalom and combined.
Lindsey Caroline Vonn is an American former World Cup alpine ski racer. She won four World Cup overall championships – third amongst female skiers to Annemarie Moser-Pröll and Mikaela Shiffrin – with three consecutive titles in 2008, 2009, and 2010, plus another in 2012. Vonn won the gold medal in downhill at the 2010 Winter Olympics, the first one for an American woman. She also won a record eight World Cup season titles in the downhill discipline, five titles in super-G, and three consecutive titles in the combined (2010–2012). In 2016, she won her 20th World Cup crystal globe title, the overall record for men or women, surpassing Ingemar Stenmark of Sweden, who won 19 globes from 1975 to 1984. She has the third highest super ranking of all skiers, men or women.

Scott Macartney is a retired American World Cup alpine ski racer. He concentrated in the speed events of downhill and super-G.
Kaylin Richardson is a former American alpine ski racer. She competed in the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin and the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, finishing 17th in the alpine skiing combined both times. She retired from the United States Ski Team and professional skiing on March 26, 2010.
