The Lebanese Ice Hockey Federation is the governing body of ice hockey in Lebanon.
The federation was accepted into the International Ice Hockey Federation on September 26, 2019. It is an associate member of the IIHF, and therefore has no right to vote in the General Assembly. The current president of the federation is Charles El-Mir.

The Ice Hockey World Championships are an annual international men's ice hockey tournament organized by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). First officially held at the 1920 Summer Olympics, it is the sport's highest profile annual international tournament. The IIHF was created in 1908 while the European Championships, the precursor to the World Championships, were first held in 1910. The tournament held at the 1920 Summer Olympics is recognized as the first Ice Hockey World Championship. From 1920 to 1968, the Olympic hockey tournament was also considered the World Championship for that year.
The France men's national ice hockey team has participated in the IIHF European Championships, the IIHF World Hockey Championships and the Olympic Games. As of 2016, it is ranked 14th in the world in the IIHF World Rankings. The team is overseen by the Fédération Française de Hockey sur Glace. Notable recent wins include upsets against Russia at the 2013 IIHF World Championship, Canada at the 2014 IIHF World Championship, and a triumphant 5–1 over Finland as the tournament host of 2017 IIHF World Championship. However, in 2019 France was relegated to Division I after a dramatic overtime loss to Great Britain.
The Italian Ice Sports Federation, is the governing body for ice sports in Italy. It was founded in September 1926 to promote the practice of winter sports on ice and to coordinate events. The FISG is a member of a number of international sports organizations including the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) and the International Skating Union (ISU).
The Mexican national ice hockey team is the national men's ice hockey team of Mexico. The team is governed by the Mexico Ice Hockey Federation (FDMHSH) and a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). Kuwait is currently not ranked in the IIHF World Rankings and have not entered in any World Championships, but have played in the Challenge Cup of Asia, a regional tournament for lower-tier hockey nations in Asia. They made their debut at the 2018 World Championship Division III Qualification tournament.

It was founded in 2006 after separation with the Fédération française des sports de glace. The 2010 IIHF World Championship Division III was an international Ice Hockey tournament run by the International Ice Hockey Federation. The tournament was contested from April 13–18, 2010. For the first time, the IIHF allowed eight teams, rather than six, to compete in Division III, which was handled by separating the teams into two groups. Group A was played in Kockelscheuer, Luxembourg, while Group B's games took place in Yerevan, Armenia. The process reverted to the single group of six teams the following year.
The 2005 IIHF World Championship Division III was an international ice hockey tournament run by the International Ice Hockey Federation. The tournament was contested on March 7–13, 2005 in Mexico City, Mexico. Mexico won the championship and gained promotion, along with South Africa, into the 2006 Division II tournament.
The 2005 IIHF World Championship Division II was an international ice hockey tournament run by the International Ice Hockey Federation. The tournament was contested from April 4 to April 16, 2005. Participants in this tournament were separated into two separate tournament groups. The Group A tournament was contested in Zagreb, Croatia. Group B's games were played in Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro. Croatia and Israel finished atop of Group A and Group B respectively, gaining promotion to Division I for 2006. While Turkey finished last in Group A and Iceland last in Group B and were relegated to Division III for 2006.

Participants in this tournament were separated into two separate tournament groups. The Group A tournament was contested in Debrecen, Hungary. Group B's games were played in Eindhoven, Netherlands. Norway and Italy finished atop of Group A and Group B respectively, gaining promotion to the Championship Division for 2006. While China finished last in Group A and Romania last in Group B and were relegated to Division II for 2006.
The Australia men's national inline hockey team represents Australia in international inline hockey competitions. They are controlled by Ice Hockey Australia for events organised by the International Ice Hockey Federation and by Skate Australia for events organised by the International Roller Sports Federation. Australia plays in Division I of the IIHF InLine Hockey World Championship and Group C at the FIRS Inline Hockey World Championships.
IIHF European Women's Champions Cup (EWCC) was an annual women's ice hockey club tournament, contested by the national women's ice hockey champions from many European countries. The event was established and organized by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). The competition format included two group phases followed by a final round. Each phase was played as a round robin in groups of four teams each.
