Bandy is a winter sport and ball sport played by two teams wearing ice skates on a large ice surface while using sticks to direct a ball into the opposing team's goal.
The German women's national ice hockey team represents Germany at the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) Women's World Championship and other international ice hockey tournaments. The women's national team was ranked eighth in the IIHF World Ranking in 2020. It is organized under the direct administration of the Deutscher Eishockey-Bund (DEB).

In 1946,it created the Eredivisie. The organisation’s name was changed from NIJB to IJNL in 2017.
Danmarks Ishockey Union or DIU is the governing body of ice hockey in Denmark. It is a member of the National Olympic Committee and Sports Confederation of Denmark (DIF) and the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). The association was founded on 27 November 1949 and became a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation the same year.

The team is controlled by the Kuwait Ice Hockey Association and a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) since 8 May 2009. As of 28 May 2023,Kuwait is currently ranked 50th in the IIHF World Ranking. Kuwait participated in the IIHF Challenge Cup of Asia,a regional tournament for lower-tier hockey nations in Asia,from 2010 to 2018. Kuwait made its World Championship debut at the 2018 Division III Qualification tournament.

Since the late 1980s,Finland has enjoyed a period of success on the international stage and,as of 2022,the men's national team is ranked first in the world and the women's national team is ranked third in the world by the IIHF.

Bandy and Field Hockey Federation of the USSR was the governing body for the sports of bandy and field hockey in the Soviet Union. The federation was governing these two sports since 1967,when ice hockey was split off to form the Soviet Union Ice Hockey Federation;ice hockey had only been introduced to the Soviet Union some twenty years earlier.
China Bandy Federation,CBF,was founded on 13 December 2014. The Chinese Ice Hockey Association joined the Federation of International Bandy (FIB) in 2010 and governed bandy in China until it was replaced by the CBF.
The India women's national ice hockey team is the ice hockey team representing India internationally in women's competition. The team is controlled by the Ice Hockey Association of India,and a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). The team was formed in 2016 and currently competes in the IIHF Women's Challenge Cup of Asia Division I tournament.
