Lee Weaver (born April 10, 1930) is an American film and television actor.
Weaver was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the son of Josephine and Primus Jest Weaver, a chef.[ citation needed ]
Weaver was the voice of Alpine in the animated television series G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero (1985–1986). Weaver played friend of George Jefferson on "The Jeffersons" season three episode 16 "George's Guilt" (1977). Weaver was also the original mailman on 227 (1985). Weaver played the role of Ricardo in the television series Easy Street (1986–1987). He appeared as a blind seer in the film O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000) and he also appeared in one episode of One World (2000), a situation-comedy television series. Weaver had a guest appearance on an episode of The Cosby Show as a waiter. He appeared as a Junkyard Owner in an episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia .
He also played the role of Ed Downer, a handyman who became an interest of Philip Banks' mom, on an episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air . Perhaps his most memorable role was the exuberant exhibitionist "Buck Naked," who enlivened episodes of Steven Bochco's police dramas, Hill Street Blues and NYPD Blue .[ citation needed ]
Since July 10, 1971, Weaver has been married to actress Ta-Tanisha and they have one child together. He and his wife reside in The Bronx, New York, where Ta-Tanisha was born and raised.[ citation needed ]
Weaver was a childhood friend of Cannonball Adderley, and served as the best man at his wedding. [1] On his 1963 album Nippon Soul , Adderley introduces the Yusef Lateef composition "The Weaver" as "dedicated to a...dear friend of everyone in the band, kind of a jive cat, but a beautiful cat. His name is Weaver, Lee Weaver. So the tune sounds somethin' like Lee Weaver. It's soulful, it's mean." [2]

Garrett Isaac Morris is an American actor, comedian, writer, and singer. He was part of the original cast and was the first African American cast member of the sketch comedy program Saturday Night Live, appearing from 1975 to 1980, and played Jimmy on The Jeffersons (1983–1984). Morris had one of the starring roles as Junior "Uncle Junior" King on the sitcom The Jamie Foxx Show, which aired from 1996 to 2001. Morris also had a starring role as Earl Washington on the CBS sitcom 2 Broke Girls, from 2011 to 2017. He is also known for his role in the sitcom Martin as Stan Winters, from 1992 to 1995 until he suffered an injury. Also, he made two guest appearances on The Wayans Bros. in season one, episode one as himself and again on episode ten as the brothers' uncle Leon (1995). He played a concerned teacher in the film Cooley High (1975), Slide in Car Wash (1976), and Carl in The Census Taker (1984).
Julian Edwin "Cannonball" Adderley was an American jazz alto saxophonist of the hard bop era of the 1950s and 1960s.
John Carradine was an American actor, considered one of the greatest character actors in American cinema. He was a member of Cecil B. DeMille's stock company and later John Ford's company, known for his roles in horror films, Westerns, and Shakespearean theater, most notably portraying Count Dracula in House of Frankenstein (1944), House of Dracula (1945), Billy the Kid Versus Dracula (1966), and Nocturna: Granddaughter of Dracula (1979). Among his other notable roles was “Preacher Casy” in John Ford’s The Grapes Of Wrath. In later decades of his career, he starred mostly in low-budget B-movies. Martin Patterson Hingle was an American character actor who appeared in stage productions and in hundreds of television shows and feature films. His first film was On the Waterfront in 1954. He often played tough authority figures. Hingle was a close friend of Clint Eastwood and appeared in the Eastwood films Hang 'em High, The Gauntlet, and Sudden Impact. He also portrayed Jim Gordon in the Batman film franchise from 1989 to 1997.

Somethin' Else is a jazz album by alto saxophonist Julian "Cannonball" Adderley, his only album on the Blue Note label, recorded and released in 1958. Also on the session is trumpeter Miles Davis in one of his handful of recording dates for Blue Note. Adderley was a member of Davis' group at the time, and the album was recorded shortly after Davis' own landmark album Milestones. The Penguin Guide to Jazz selected Somethin' Else as part of its suggested "Core Collection."

He was known for his roles as George Jefferson on the CBS television series All in the Family and The Jeffersons (1975–1985), Deacon Ernest Frye on the NBC series Amen (1986–1991), and B. P. Richfield on the ABC series Dinosaurs. Hemsley also played Judge Carl Robertson on the NBC series The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. For his work on The Jeffersons, Hemsley was nominated for a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award. Hemsley also won an NAACP Image Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Comedy Series or Special in 1982.

The Japanese Concerts is a live album by jazz saxophonist Cannonball Adderley recorded at the Kōsei Nenkin Kaikan and Sankei Hall in Tokyo during his 1963 Japanese tour and featuring performances by Adderley with Nat Adderley, Yusef Lateef, Joe Zawinul, Sam Jones and Louis Hayes. The album was released on the Milestone label in 1975 and combines material previously released on Adderley's Nippon Soul (1963) with an additional disc of unreleased performances from a concert recorded a week earlier.
