Letters Home entered the UK Albums Chart on 31 October 2010 at number 10, making it their second Top 10 album.

American singer and songwriter Kelis has released six studio albums, one live album, one compilation album, 39 singles, and 29 music videos. At age 16, she left her parents' home and was signed to Virgin Records four years later. Her debut single, "Caught Out There", was released in 1999, reaching number 54 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number four in the United Kingdom. By mid 2008, at age 19, she became one of the first music artists to exceed 100 million views on YouTube. At the time that was more than 50 Cent's or Michael Jackson's YouTube channels. Only Britney Spears had more all-time total views: 181 million. Denters was signed by Timberlake as the first artist to his label Tennman Records. In May 2009, she released her debut studio album, Outta Here, and toured the United States with Timberlake. After the label dropped her, Denters moved to London, where she competed in BBC One's The Voice UK.

The following month they won the program by claiming the coveted Christmas Number One, ahead of the male group One True Voice. Cardle has been involved in music since his early teens and has been a member of two different bands; Darwyn and Seven Summers. Cardle rose to fame after winning the seventh series of The X Factor, and received a £1 million recording contract with Syco Music and later signed a deal with Columbia Records.
