A cross-platform interchange is a type of interchange between different lines at a metro station. The term originates with the London Underground; such layouts exist in other networks but are not commonly so named. In the United States, it is often referred to as a cross-platform transfer.
The Chongqing Rail Transit is the rapid transit system in the city of Chongqing, China. In operation since 2005, it serves the transportation needs of the city's main business and entertainment downtown areas and inner suburbs. As of January 2023, CRT consisted of ten lines, with a total track length of 485.02 km (301 mi). Lines 1, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, the Loop line and Jiangtiao line are conventional heavy-rail metro lines, Lines 2 and 3 are high-capacity monorails. To keep up with urban growth, construction is under way on Line 18 and several other lines, in addition to extensions to Lines 5, 6 and 10.

Shapingba is a metro station of the Chongqing Rail Transit system in Shapingba District, Chongqing Municipality, China. The station began service on 28 July 2011 with the opening of Line 1 of Chongqing Rail Transit. Until the extension to Daxuecheng was completed and opened in 2012, it operated as the terminus of Line 1. It later was expanded to accommodate two extra metro lines to the south of the Line 1 metro station, to serve the Loop Line and Line 9, but the transfer passage didn't open until 30 September 2022. Line 27, which is currently under construction, will also serve the station in future.
Terminal 2 of Jiangbei Airport, previously known simply as Jiangbei Airport, is an interchange station of Line 3 and Line 10 of Chongqing Rail Transit in Yubei District of Chongqing Municipality, China. The station opened in 2011 with Line 3 and was expanded in 2017 with Line 10, alongside changing to its current name to differentiate itself from the station at Terminal 3A of the airport.

Sigongli station is an interchange station on the Loop Line and Line 3 of Chongqing Rail Transit in Chongqing Municipality, China. It is located in Nan'an District. It opened on 30 December 2011 with Line 3 and was expanded on 28 December 2018 with the Loop Line section of the station.
Xiejiawan is a station on Line 2 of Chongqing Rail Transit in Chongqing Municipality, China. It is located in the Jiulongpo District. The station began service in 2006. In 2019, the station turned into an interchange station with the opening of the southwestern extension of Loop Line. Nevertheless, due to the transfer passage is still under construction, all passengers transferring between the two lines must exit the station first.

The Chongqing West railway station is a railway station of Chengyu Passenger Railway that is located in Shapingba District of Chongqing, People's Republic of China. It is the second largest railway station, after Xi'an North, in South Western China when opened on January 25, 2018. It will serve as Chongqing's connection with many destinations across south-western and north-western China. Situated in Shangqiao area of Shapingba, near the intersections of the G93 Chengdu–Chongqing Ring Expressway and the G85 Chongqing–Kunming Expressways. This is the third major railway station to serve Chongqing, after Chongqing North and Chongqing Stations. It opened in conjunction with the smaller nearby Shapingba station on the same day.
Min'an Ave. station is an interchange station of the Loop Line and Line 4 of Chongqing Rail Transit in Yubei District of Chongqing Municipality, China. The station opened on 11 January 2019. It serves the area surrounding Min'an Avenue, including nearby office buildings and residential blocks.
