The Liga Futsal Kebangsaan (LFK) (English: National Futsal League) is the national top-tier futsal league in Malaysia. It is the only professional futsal league in Malaysia. The competition is separated into Men and Women categories. For 2018 season, a total of ten clubs compete in men division while eight clubs compete in women division.
Futsal is a variant of association football played on a hard court, smaller than a football pitch, and mainly indoors. It can be considered a version of five-a-side football.

The Liga Futsal Kebangsaan (Wanita) is the top flight women's futsal league in Malaysia. The league is the women's categories of Liga Futsal Kebangsaan and managed by the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM). The competition has been founded in 2007. For 2017 season, six clubs will compete for the championship in the women's categories.
Since its inception in 2004, the Liga Futsal Kebangsaan title has been won by seven different champions. The current champions is Melaka United which won the league for the second time in the 2018 season. [1]
Melaka United Soccer Association is a professional football club based in Malacca City that competes in Malaysia Super League. Founded in 1924, the club's home ground since then has been Hang Tuah Stadium before moving to Hang Jebat Stadium in Paya Rumput / Krubong. The club represents the state of Malacca in Malaysian football competitions. They currently play in the top division in Malaysian football, the Malaysia Super League after being promoted back-to-back as champion from 2015 Malaysia FAM League and 2016 Malaysia Premier League.
In 2004, Football Association of Malaysia introduced the first futsal league (carnival format) sponsored by Hyundai. The league was known as Hyundai National Futsal Championship, which was then joined by 18 teams and was held at Sports Planet Ampang.
The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) is the governing body for responsible for organising the Malaysia national football team within the country. The Football Association of Malaysia headquarters is located at Wisma FAM.
Hyundai Group is a South Korean business conglomerate headquartered in Seoul. It was founded by Chung Ju-yung in 1947 as a construction firm and Chung was directly in control of the company until his death in 2001.
In 2006, the league was called Celcom National Futsal Championship after Celcom took over as the main sponsor. It was a carnival format which took place at four zones (North, Central, South & East). A total of 33 teams battled this time for the league title.
Celcom Axiata Berhad, DBA Celcom, is the oldest mobile telecommunications provider in Malaysia. Celcom is a member of the Axiata group of companies. Being one of the very few companies in Malaysia to originally obtain a cellular phone license, it successfully introduced mobile telephony in Malaysia through its ART-900 service, using first generation (analogue) ETACS specifications of the United Kingdom, a derivative of the US-AMPS technology. The ETACS ART-900 was started using the prefix "010". Celcom now uses the dialling prefix identifier of "013" and "019" and offer digital GSM, an originally European standard, now largely a world standard for mobile communications. The original frequency band for GSM is 900 MHz, and was soon extended to 1800 MHz to cater for a much wider bandwidth requirements. The 2100 MHz band is used for their dual-channel HSPA+ network. Celcom is also licensed and has been operating FDD-LTE on 1800 MHz and 2600 MHz.
In 2007, FELDA took over as the official sponsor and was called as Liga Futsal Kebangsaan FAM/FELDA. The women categories were introduced for the first time in that year.
The Federal Land Development Authority is a Malaysian government agency that was founded to handle the resettlement of rural poor into newly developed areas and to organise smallholder farms growing cash crops. Since the 1990s, it has not established new settlements, but has engaged in a diversified range of economic development and business activities.
Figos RSA became the first club to win the title back-to-back in 2008-09 and 2009-10 season. In 2014-15 season, Felda United match the record after winning the season for the second times. [2]
The league was on hold for 2016 season after a financial problem and postponed to January 2017 for the new season. [3] [4] [5] [6] For 2017 season, a total of 10 clubs was supposed to compete in men categories. However, Selangor withdrew from the competition before the start of the season. In women categories, a total of six clubs compete in the competition.

Malaysia Premier League is the current second-tier football league in Malaysia. The league replaced the former second-tier league Liga Perdana 2 in Malaysian football league system.
The Malaysia women's national team is Malaysia's national women's football team and is controlled by the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM). The team represents Malaysia in international women's football. The Malaysian team is now nicknamed as Harimau Malaya.
