Chor was the women's doubles silver medalist at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur partnered with Lim Pek Siah, also helped the team reach the final and clinch the silver medal. Teamed-up with Chew Choon Eng in the mixed doubles, they claimed the gold medal at the 1999 Southeast Asian Games in Brunei. She previously left the Badminton Association of Malaysia due to nagging injuries and her studies in 2001, and in 2004 she made a comeback to the national squad. Chor educated business in HELP University. She now works as an executive committee member of Cheras club.

Partnered with Lim Yin Loo, she became the semi-finalist at the 2008 Vietnam Open a BWF Grand Prix tournament. Wong Tien Ci is a Malaysian badminton player who is affiliated with the Serdang Badminton Club in Selangor owned by former national player Ong Ewe Hock.
Badminton was introduced to Singapore by the British in the early 19th century. By the mid-1920s, the game became increasingly popular and spread quickly to the rest of the local population. Amid the rising popularity, badminton enthusiasts began forming clubs, or “parties”, to meet and play the game. It was during this period that the Singapore Badminton Association (SBA) was established to promote the sport and organise competitions. The first official annual open championships was held in that period with the best players from the tournament such as E. J. Vass, Tan Chong Tee, Alice Pennefather and Ong Siew Eng were chosen to represent Singapore in the regional tournaments.
Meilysa Trias Puspita Sari is an Indonesian badminton player. At the 2022 World Junior Championships, she won a silver in the girls' doubles and a bronze medal in the mixed team events.
