Linda Margaretha de Mol (born 8 July 1964) is a Dutch television presenter and actress in the Netherlands and Germany. She is the sister of TV-producer and Endemol co-founder John de Mol, and has frequently appeared in productions of his.
She also runs her own monthly glossy magazine, named by the mononym LINDA.
Linda de Mol made her television debut at age 12 in Wat je zegt ben je zelf, a programme largely made by children for the Dutch AVRO public (non-profit) broadcasting organization.
In 1984, she resurfaced on Sky Channel, hosting English language music programmes such as Coca-Cola Eurochart Top 50 and In touch with the Dutch (some of Endemol's first productions). From 1986 onwards, De Mol announced cartoons on The DJ Kat Show named after her feline sidekick played by US-exile puppeteer Robbie Hahn. In 1990, some of the scripts for Billy Hot Dog were re-written and shown on TROS' Wednesday evening slot.
De Mol went on to present shows and quizzes, such as Miljoenenjacht (the original version of Deal or No Deal ), De Slimste, and M/V . From 2005 until 2009, De Mol starred in the weekly drama series Gooische Vrouwen on RTL4 (originally on Tien).
In 1991 De Mol released a Dutch-language album written by Henk Westbroek of the former band Het Goede Doel. Six years later Dino released De Mol's holiday CD single "Perfect Harmony", a duet with The Bold and the Beautiful star Jeff Trachta and featuring backing vocals by American singer Wendy Alane Wright.[ citation needed ]
De Mol married her childhood sweetheart, jeweler Fred Reuter, on 23 August 1991. In September 1995 they divorced. Soon after, De Mol started dating director Sander Vahle. They moved in together a year later. The pair have two children, son Julian (born 1997) and daughter Noa (born 1999). On 31 October 2007 it was announced that De Mol and Vahle had officially separated. Since then De Mol has been in a relationship with composer and keyboardist Jeroen Rietbergen. On January 16, 2022, Linda made a statement announcing the end of their relationship due to Jeroen Rietbergen's confession of sexual misbehaviour at The Voice of Holland.

Tien opened on August 13, 2005 as Talpa by Talpa Holding Company, following a name dispute with SBS Broadcasting. SBS Broadcasting owned the trademark "TV10" and objected to the use of the word Tien. The owner of Tien, Dutch media mogul John de Mol, decided to rebrand the channel as Talpa, the Latin word for "mole", which is mol in Dutch. Subsequently Talpa became the name of De Mol's holding company.
Miljoenenjacht, officially Postcode Loterij Miljoenenjacht, is a Dutch game show, sponsored by the country's postcode lottery, where a contestant and at-home viewer could win up to €5,000,000 or as little as €0.01. The show is broadcast at various times, spanning across six episodes for each set. The program was originally shown by TROS on NPO 2, but moved to creator John de Mol's channel Tien in 2005. After the channel was discontinued after its sale to the RTL Group, the program moved to RTL 4. In 2019, the program moved to SBS6 due to the transfer of Linda de Mol from RTL to SBS.
The DJ Kat Show was a children's television programme presented by the puppet DJ Kat and his friend Linda de Mol, the sister of Endemol founder John de Mol, which ran from 1 September 1986 to 31 December 1995. The show was first broadcast to Europe on satellite and cable channel Sky Channel and later on Sky One and Sky Europe. The show was aired every weekday morning and afternoon, and throughout its life was home to a particularly large number of imported animated series. A separate version of The DJ Kat Show was later created for the United States where it was aired on stations affiliated with the Fox Broadcasting Company, including WNYW, Fox's flagship station. Deal or No Deal is the German version of the international game show of Dutch origin of the same name. It was broadcast in Germany by broadcaster Sat.1. The show was premiered on May 1, 2004 as Der Millionen-Deal It was hosted by Linda de Mol, who also is the host of the Dutch show Miljoenenjacht. The game had a top prize of €2,000,000. The first series was a seven-episode run.
RTL 8 is a Dutch free-to-cable television channel that was launched on 18 August 2007 replacing Tien, previously known as Talpa. RTL 8's main target audience consists of women. It broadcasts soap operas, talk shows, films and reruns of programmes from its sister RTL channels. In the mornings and late afternoons children's channel RTL Telekids is broadcasting on RTL 8. Officially RTL 8, along with all other Dutch RTL channels, is broadcasting under a Luxembourg television license. Therefore, the channel is also headquartered in Luxembourg. By doing this RTL can avoid more severe control by the Dutch media authorities, as Luxembourg does not have a strict authority that regulates its broadcasters. Dutch citizens need a subscription to a cable, satellite, IPTV, or DVB-T provider to view the channel. All providers include the channel in their base package.
Gooische Vrouwen is a Dutch comedy-drama series, created by Linda de Mol for her brother John de Mol's TV network Tien in 2005, along the lines of Desperate Housewives or Sex and the City. After the show's second season, its original channel was acquired by RTL Nederland and Gooische Vrouwen was transferred to its flagship channel RTL 4, where it ran for three more seasons until its finale in 2009. After its 42-episode run the show was followed by a theatrically released feature film in 2011. The show chronicles the everyday lives of four female friends living in the Gooi.

Gooische Vrouwen is a 2011 Dutch film. It is based on the television series Gooische Vrouwen. After the creators announced that the fifth season of the series would be the last, they revealed on 7 November 2009 that they were working on a film adaptation. It earned more than 41.7 million Euro in the box office. The sequel Gooische Vrouwen 2 became the best-visited film in the Netherlands in 2014.

Gooische Vrouwen 2 is a 2014 Dutch film directed by Will Koopman. The film is the sequel of the 2011 film Gooische Vrouwen and both films are based on the Gooische Vrouwen television series. The film was released on 4 December 2014 and went on to become the best-visited film in the Netherlands in 2014. The film won the Golden Film award after having sold 100,000 tickets and on 28 December 2014 also the Diamond Film for reaching 1 million tickets. It went on to have more than 2 million admissions, making it one of the ten most popular Dutch films of all time. In 2015, the film won the Rembrandt Award.
