Adelaide United Football Club, an association club based in Hindmarsh, Adelaide, was founded in 2003. They became the only South Australian member admitted into the A-League Men in 2005, after they spent their inaugural season in the National Soccer League. The club's first team has competed in numerous nationally and internationally organised competitions, and all players who have played in 100 or more such matches are listed below.
Eugene Galekovic holds the record for greatest number of appearances for Adelaide United. Between 2007 and 2017, he played 285 times for the club. Isaías and Ryan Kitto are the other playes to have reached over 200 appearances. The club's goalscoring record is held by Craig Goodwin, who scored 60 goals in all competitions between 2014 and 2023.

Adelaide United Football Club is a professional men's soccer club located in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia. The club was one of the eight founding members of the A-League Men and have competed in it concurrently since its formation, under licence from the Australian Professional Leagues.
Eugen Josip Galekovic is an Australian former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He is the current goalkeeper coach for Adelaide United. Having played over 250 games in the A-league, 238 of those for Adelaide United, he is considered one of the greatest A-league goalkeepers of all time, and one of Adelaide United greatest players.
James Alexander Jeggo is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a central midfielder for A-League Men club Melbourne City. Born in Austria, he plays for the Australia national team. Jeggo moved to Australia as a child, where he started his footballing career in youth football with Green Gully and at the Victorian Institute of Sport before making his professional debut for Melbourne Victory.
The 2012–13 Adelaide United FC season was the club's eighth A-League season. It includes the 2012–13 A-League season as well as any other competitions of the 2012–13 football season, including the 2012 AFC Champions League. Known for his agility, crossing and shot placement, he is Adelaide United's all-time leading goalscorer, and considered one of Adelaide United's greatest players.
Ryan Kitto is an Australian soccer player who plays as a left-back for Adelaide United whom he captains.
The 2014 FFA Cup Final was the inaugural final of the FFA Cup, the premier soccer knockout cup competition in Australia. The match was an all A-League affair, contested between Adelaide United and Perth Glory at Coopers Stadium on 16 December 2014. Although future editions of the tournament will involve the Cup final being played late in the Australian summer, this season's final was brought forward in order to avoid a clash with the 2015 AFC Asian Cup, which was hosted by Australia. Adelaide United were the inaugural champions, winning 1–0 with Sergio Cirio scoring the lone goal of the match shortly after Joshua Risdon was sent off for a second bookable offence, reducing Perth to 10 men.
The 2019–20 Adelaide United FC season was the club's 16th season since its establishment in 2003. The club participated in the A-League for the 15th time and participated in the FFA Cup for 6th time, winning the 2019 FFA Cup tournament.
The 2020–21 Adelaide United FC season is the club's 17th season since its establishment in 2003. The club will participate in the A-League for the 16th time. The club will not compete in the 2020 FFA Cup due to the event being cancelled following the COVID-19 pandemic in Australia.
The 2022–23 season was the club's 19th in the history of Adelaide United Football Club since its establishment in 2003. The club participated in the A-League Men for the 18th time, and the Australia Cup for the 8th time.
The 2024–25 season is the 21st in the history of Adelaide United Football Club since its establishment in 2003. The club will participate in the A-League Men for the 20th consecutive season and is making their 10th consecutive appearance in the Australia Cup.
