Brisbane Roar Football Club, an association football club based in Milton, Brisbane, founded in 1957 as Hollandina-Inala. They became the first Queensland member admitted into the A-League Men in 2005 after a break off with other associated club Queensland Lions. The club's first team have competed in numerous nationally and internationally organised competitions, and all players who have played in 100 or more such matches, either as a member of the starting eleven or as a substitute, are listed below.

Matt McKay holds the record for the greatest number of appearances for Brisbane Roar. Between 2005 and 2019 the Australian midfielder played 303 times for the club. [1] As of 2023, two other players have made more than 200 appearances for Brisbane Roar who are Jack Hingert and Thomas Broich. The club's goalscoring record is held by Besart Berisha, who scored 50 goals in all competitions between 2011 and 2014. He surpassed the previous record of 25 goals in league competition, held by Sergio van Dijk in 2012. [2]

Matthew Graham McKay is a retired Australian professional footballer who last played for Australian A-League club Brisbane Roar, and previously with the Australian national team. McKay currently holds the club's record for league appearances, 272. The 2009–10 A-League was the 33rd season of top-flight soccer in Australia, and the fifth season of the A-League competition since its establishment in 2004. The season marked the addition of two new teams from Queensland. Gold Coast United FC and the North Queensland Fury FC made their A-League debuts at the start of the season. Because of this, Queensland Roar were renamed to Brisbane Roar, as they were no longer the only A-League club from Queensland. With the inception of the two new clubs, many club transfers took place both within Australia and New Zealand, and around the world.

The 2010–11 A-League was the 34th season of top-flight soccer in Australia, and the sixth season of the Australian A-League soccer competition since its establishment in 2004. The home and away season began on 5 August 2010 and concluded on 13 February 2011. The addition of Melbourne Heart brought the total number of teams to 11. Brisbane Roar finished Premiers with two games remaining in the season following an Australian record unbeaten run, and later completed the Premiership and Championship double by beating the Central Coast Mariners in the Grand Final.

The Brisbane Roar End of Season Awards are the individual awards won by players of the Australian football club, Brisbane Roar, who compete in each of the A-League, National Youth League and W-League competitions. These awards are presented annually at the club's presentation night following the completion of the A-League season.

The 2011–12 season is Brisbane Roar's seventh season in the A-League. Brisbane successfully defended their Championship by defeating Perth Glory 2–1 in front of 50,344, but relinquished the Premiership to Central Coast Mariners, who ended the regular season 2 points ahead of the Roar, with the result going to down to the last day of the regular season. They will compete in the 2012 Asian Champions League, for finishing the regular season first. On 2 August 2011, the club confirmed they would be supplied with kits and training gear by German multinational apparel company Puma. It is the first time in the history of the club and A-League that they will not be wearing a kit that is made by Reebok.

The 2016–17 A-League was the 40th season of top-flight soccer in Australia, and the 12th since the establishment of the A-League in 2004. The season began on 7 October 2016.
