The following is a list of contestants in the thirteenth series of Big Brother UK .

Adam

Adam Kelly, aged 27, was raised in Burton-upon-Trent [1] but moved to the United States and currently lives in Dudley, upon his move back to the United Kingdom. He is a reformed former member of the Los Angeles Crips gang. [1] He left the house as this year's runner-up, leaving the house on Day 70.

Arron

Arron Lowe is a 23-year-old model from Manchester. In Week 5, Arron was nominated for eviction against three other housemates. He received the fewest votes to save and became the fifth housemate to be evicted.

Ashleigh

Ashleigh Hughes (born 23 June 1991) [2] is a former wine stocks saleswoman from Romford, East London. On Day 1, Ashleigh entered the house with fifteen other housemates. On Day 13, she won a gym session for herself and Luke S in the Ticking Time Bomb game. On Day 19, Ashleigh celebrated her 21st birthday in the house, and chose two other housemates to plan rival parties for her. She then had to choose one party to carry on, and one to close down. [2] In Week 10, Ashleigh faced her third eviction against three other housemates. She became the eleventh housemate to be evicted, in a double eviction with Scott.

Becky

Rebecca "Becky" Hannon (born 25 November 1992) is a 19-year-old drama college student from Blackburn. She was in her first year of drama college and has previously been an extra in Shameless . [3] Becky was chosen by the public to enter the Big Brother house on Day 4 as a wildcard housemate. In Week 9, she was nominated for eviction against three other housemates. She was evicted in a very close vote, receiving 1.1% of the public vote less than Ashleigh.

Benedict

Benedict Garrett is a 32-year-old former teacher from Manchester. He has an 18-year-old foster son. [4] In Week 3, Benedict was nominated for eviction against Lauren, and became the third housemate to be evicted.

Caroline

Caroline Wharram is a 20-year-old former boarding school girl from Surrey. She was nominated in Week 8 against seven other housemates, and received the lowest number of votes to save out of the eight, becoming the eighth housemate to be evicted. [5]

Chris

Chris James is a 21-year-old doorman and bailiff from Luton. In Week 2, he was nominated for eviction against Arron, and received the fewest votes to save, becoming the second housemate to be evicted.

Conor

Conor McIntyre (born 27 July 1987) [6] is a 25-year-old from Derry. At the age of 16, Conor won a place at the David Beckham Football Academy. [7] On Day 60, Conor and Luke S were faced with the option of taking up to half of the £100,000 jackpot prize, but if they did they had to leave the house immediately. Both Conor and Luke S pressed the red button in The White Room for the £50,000 but Conor pressed it first, and left the Big Brother House with £50,000.

Deana

Deana Uppal (born 30 January 1988 [8] ) is a 24-year-old model from Wednesbury. She was the current holder of the title Miss India UK. On Day 1, Deana entered the house along with fifteen other housemates. She was randomly selected by Big Brother to be the first housemate to enter the house, and had to nominate three of the other housemates in front of them in exchange for immunity from the public eviction. On Day 70, Deana left the house in 3rd place. Deana received the most nominations of the entire series, and survived the highest number of evictions.

Lauren

Lauren Carre is a 20-year-old who grew up on a farm in Jersey. She is a black belt in martial arts. She auditioned for Big Brother via YouTube. In Week 3, Lauren was nominated for eviction against Benedict, but survived. In Week 7, Lauren was nominated for her second eviction against Luke A, and became the seventh housemate to be evicted.

After her eviction, Carre appeared in a photoshoot for Nuts magazine. [9]

Luke A

Luke Anderson (born 1981) is a South African-born 31-year-old chef from Flintshire. He was assigned female at birth. [10] He was one of two housemates called Luke in the house, so was referred to as Luke A to avoid confusion. In Week 7, he was nominated to face the public vote against Lauren, and survived. [11] In Week 9, Luke A faced the public vote for the third time in succession, against three other housemates, and survived for a third time. On Day 70, Luke A left the house as the winner of Big Brother 13.

Luke S

Luke Scrase is a 25-year-old club promoter from Stoke-on-Trent. He left the house in 5th place on Day 70, and was the first to leave the house on the final night.

Lydia

Lydia Louisa (born 21 June 1986 [12] ) is a 26-year-old professional dancer from Cheshire. She had danced with celebrities such as Kylie Minogue, Robbie Williams, Kanye West [ citation needed ] and has appeared, as an extra, on the film Mamma Mia! . She was also a contestant on series 1 of Dirty Dancing: The Time of Your Life . In Week 4, Lydia was nominated to face the public vote against Deana. She received fewer votes, and became the fourth housemate to be evicted.

Sara

Sara McLean (born 6 April 1990) is a 26-year-old model from Edinburgh. She won Miss Edinburgh in 2010 and finished second in Miss Scotland 2011 and lost to Big Brother 15's Danielle McMahon. Sara survived to the final, being up for the public vote only once during her stay, and left the house in 4th place on Day 70.

In March 2013, McLean appeared topless in a photoshoot for the first time in Zip magazine.[ citation needed ]

Scott

Scott Mason is a 21-year-old history student from Macclesfield, who was studying at the University of Exeter. On Day 44, Scott was given an official warning by Big Brother for using language that could be viewed as stereotyping towards Deana. [13] In Week 10, Scott was nominated to face the public vote in a double eviction against three other housemates. He became the tenth housemate to leave the house, along with Ashleigh who became the eleventh. Out of all of the housemates, Scott was the last to face the public vote; he was never up for eviction until Week 10, when he was evicted.

Shievonne

Shievonne Robinson (born 7 July 1983) [14] is an assistant manager from Lewisham. In Week 6, she was nominated for eviction against Conor, and became the sixth housemate to be evicted.

Victoria

Victoria Eisermann is a 41-year-old former glamour model from Reading. She was a plus-size model and animal rights campaigner. She received the least support in the first public vote and on Day 4 became the first housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother house.

Secret Story 2009 is the fifth edition of the French version of the popular reality show Big Brother carrying on from the previous similar show, Loft Story. It began airing on TF1 on June 19, 2009 and continue to air until September 25, 2009, lasting 99 days, and is presented by Benjamin Castaldi, who presented Loft Story and the first two seasons of Secret Story.

Big Brother 2011, also known as Big Brother 12, was the twelfth series of the British reality television series Big Brother and the first not to be broadcast on Channel 4. It was broadcast on Channel 5 for the first time since the show's transfer from Channel 4. Big Brother 2012, also known as Big Brother 13, was the thirteenth series of the British reality television series Big Brother, and the second series to broadcast on Channel 5. The series premiered with a live launch on 5 June 2012 and ran for 70 days, concluding on 13 August 2012. The series was originally planned to run for thirteen weeks, but was cut back to ten weeks in order to accommodate Celebrity Big Brother 10. The series was won by Luke Anderson, who won half of the £100,000 prize fund, with the remainder taken by Conor McIntyre as part of the White Room twist. Anderson is the second transgender contestant to win the show, the first being Nadia Almada who won the show back in 2004. The runner-up was Adam Kelly. The series was announced in April 2011 when Channel 5 signed a two-year contract to air the show. With Big Brother 12 having been broadcast in autumn 2011, this is the first series to air in the show's regular summer period on Channel 5 since it acquired the show from Channel 4 in 2011.

<i>Celebrity Big Brother</i> (British series 10) season of television series

Celebrity Big Brother 10 was the tenth series of the British reality television series Celebrity Big Brother. It launched on 15 August 2012, two days after the final of Big Brother 13, and aired on Channel 5 and 5* for 24 days until 7 September 2012. It was the third celebrity series to air on Channel 5 as part of a contract extension of the current two-year contract with Endemol, and the fifth series of Big Brother to air on Channel 5 since they acquired the show. The series was sponsored by hair product brand Schwarzkopf Live Color XXL. It was won by comedian Julian Clary, with television presenter Coleen Nolan as runner-up. First evictee, Jasmine Lennard, later appeared as a guest for a two-day stint on Big Brother 16.

Celebrity Big Brother 12 was the twelfth series of the British reality television series Celebrity Big Brother. It launched on 22 August 2013, three days after the fourteenth regular series final, in two parts. The series ended after 23 days on 13 September 2013, with Charlotte Crosby being voted the winner of the series by the public. It continued to air on Channel 5 as part of a two-year contract with Endemol, which secured the show until 2014. It was the fifth celebrity series to air on Channel 5 and the eighth series of Big Brother to air on the broadcaster overall since they acquired the show.

Big Brother 2014, also known as Big Brother 15 and Big Brother: Power Trip, was the fifteenth series of the British reality television series Big Brother, hosted by Emma Willis and narrated by Marcus Bentley. It began on 5 June 2014 on Channel 5 and lasted for 72 days ending on 15 August 2014, making it the longest series to air on Channel 5. It was the fourth regular series and the tenth series of Big Brother overall to air on the channel. The series was officially confirmed on 3 April 2012 when Channel 5 renewed the show until 2014. It was therefore the final regular series to be included under the then contract.

<i>Big Brother</i> (British series 16) season of the UK television series

Big Brother 2015, also known as Big Brother 16 and Big Brother: Timebomb, was the sixteenth series of the British reality television series Big Brother, hosted by Emma Willis and narrated by Marcus Bentley. The series launched on Channel 5 in the United Kingdom and TV3 in the Republic of Ireland on 12 May 2015 and ended on 16 July 2015, a week earlier than planned. This was the earliest launch of a Big Brother series since the show's inception in 2000. It is the fifth regular series and the thirteenth series of Big Brother overall to air on Channel 5, and is the first regular series to air in May since Big Brother 8 in 2007. It is also the first series to air in Ireland since its move to Channel 5 in 2011. On 2 February 2015, it was revealed that Willis had stepped down as a host on the show's spin-off series Big Brother's Bit on the Side, though Rylan Clark will continue.

Celebrity Big Brother 16, also known as Celebrity Big Brother: UK vs USA, was the sixteenth series of the British reality television series Celebrity Big Brother, hosted by Emma Willis and narrated by Marcus Bentley. The series launched on 27 August 2015 on Channel 5 in the United Kingdom and TV3 in the Ireland, and ended after 29 days on 24 September 2015. It is the ninth celebrity series and the fourteenth series of Big Brother overall to air on Channel 5. It was the only celebrity series to credit Denis O'Connor as creative director.
