The 2011–12 Hong Kong First Division League, also known as 2011–12 bma Hong Kong First Division League season was the 100th since its establishment. Kitchee SC was the defending champions, having won their 4th Hong Kong title in the previous season.

Kitchee started as defending champions having won the league, as well as the Hong Kong FA Cup in 2011–12, and was looking to retain their title. The 9 teams from the Premier League and the top 3 teams from the preliminary round competed in the proper round. Hong Kong Pegasus won their 2nd title on 15 May 2016.
