North West Warriors was formed in 2013 and became a Twenty20 team in 2017. [1] They played their inaugural Twenty20 in the 2017 Inter-Provincial Trophy against Northern Knights. [2] In total, 29 players have appeared in Twenty20 cricket for North West Warriors, with three players (Andy McBrine, David Rankin, and Stuart Thompson) having played in all fifteen Twenty20 fixtures played by North West Warriors.
William Porterfield is North West Warriors' leading run-scorer in Twenty20 cricket, aggregating 269 runs. Aaron Gillespie has the highest score in the format for North West Warriors, with 80 not out scored in 2018 against Munster Reds. [3] For players who have made five or more appearances, Porterfield has the teams best batting average: 29.88. Among the bowlers, Craig Young has taken more wickets than any other with 24. Young also has the best bowling figures in an innings: he claimed five wickets against Northern Knights in a 2017 match, while conceding 15 runs. [4]

William Boyd Rankin is a Northern Irish former cricketer who played international cricket for Ireland, and briefly also played for England. He is a right-arm medium-fast bowler. He is the brother of fellow cricketer David Rankin.
Richard Beamish Cricket Grounds are a cricket ground in the Mardyke, Cork, Ireland. The cricket field and facilities are located on the southern bank of the River Lee, and overlooked by University College Cork and St Vincent's Catholic Church. The ground is officially named after Richard Beamish, but it is generally called The Mardyke after the area where it is situated, or the Cricket Club as it is the home ground of Cork County Cricket Club. The Munster representative provincial side, the Munster Reds, also use The Mardyke as their home ground.
The Ireland cricket team toured India during March 2017 to play five One Day Internationals (ODIs), three Twenty20 International (T20Is) and an ICC Intercontinental Cup match against Afghanistan. All the matches were played at the Greater Noida Sports Complex Ground, Greater Noida, in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Afghanistan won the T20I series 3–0 and the ODI series 3–2. Afghanistan also won the ICC Intercontinental Cup match, by an innings and 172 runs.
The Women's Senior T20 Trophy, previously known as the Senior Women's T20 League, is a women's Twenty20 cricket competition held in India. It began in the 2008–09 season, with 28 teams representing state cricket associations, whilst the most recent season, 2022–23, had 37 teams competing. Railways are the most successful team in the history of the competition, winning 11 titles, whilst Delhi, Punjab and Mumbai have won the competition once apiece.
The 2018 Inter-Provincial Trophy was the sixth edition of the Inter-Provincial Trophy, a Twenty20 cricket competition that was played in Ireland. It was held from 18 May to 8 July 2018. It was the second edition of the competition to be played with full Twenty20 status. Leinster Lightning were the defending champions. They won the tournament, with five wins from their six matches.

Rachel Hannah Marie Hopkins is an English cricketer who currently plays for North East Warriors. An all-rounder, she is a right-handed batter and right-arm medium bowler. She previously played for Northern Diamonds, Derbyshire and Durham, before they were succeeded by North East Warriors. She is also a High Performance Coach of North East Warriors.
Laura Elizabeth Jackson is an English cricketer who currently plays for Lancashire, North West Thunder and Manchester Originals. An all-rounder, she is a right-handed batter and right-arm medium bowler. She has previously played for Cheshire and Cumbria.
