Anna Molka Ahmed was a Pakistani artist and a pioneer of fine arts in the country after its independence in 1947. She was a professor of fine arts at the University of the Punjab in Lahore.

Shakir Ali (Urdu: شاکر على was an influential modern Pakistani artist and an art teacher. He was the principal of the National College of Arts in Lahore. He first joined Mayo School of Art as a lecturer in Art in 1954 and after changing the name of Mayo School to National College of Arts in 1958, he became its first Pakistani principal in 1962. Widely known to have inspired cubism among the artists of Lahore, he had a huge following of artists in Pakistan, most of whom were his students including Muhammad Ahmad Khan, Jamil Naqsh, Bashir Mirza, Ahmed Pervez and others.

Zubeida Agha was among the first Pakistani Modern Artists. After the creation of Pakistan in 1947, she was the first artist to hold an exhibition of her paintings. She helped bring the modern idiom to Pakistan.

Abdur Rahman Chughtai was a painter, artist, and intellectual from Pakistan, who created his own unique, distinctive painting style influenced by Mughal art, miniature painting, Art Nouveau and Islamic art traditions. He is considered to be 'the first significant modern Muslim artist from Pakistan', and the national artist of Pakistan.

The Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry(LCCI) was established in 1923. It was established to serve and represent the interests of the business community in Lahore, Pakistan.

Aadil Salahuddin is Pakistan's foremost stamp designer with over 2000 stamp designs to his name. Of these, 400 have been printed including nearly 50 for other countries of the world.

Ahmed Saeed Nagi, was a noted Pakistani painter artist. He was known as the 'official artist' of the Pakistan freedom movement.

The 2004–05 ABN-AMRO Twenty-20 Cup was the first edition of the ABN-AMRO Twenty-20 Cup, a domestic Twenty20 tournament in Pakistan sponsored by ABN AMRO. It was held from 25 to 30 April 2005 in Lahore. The Faisalabad Wolves won the tournament by defeating the Karachi Dolphins in the final. As the winners, the Faisalabad Wolves were invited to compete in the International 20:20 Club Championship in September 2005, which they won.
