Faisal Al-Fayez Jordanian politician

Faisal al-Fayez was the Prime Minister of Jordan from 25 October 2004 to 6 March 2005. He took office following the resignation of Ali Abu al-Ragheb. He resigned after being criticized for not being reformist enough. He previously served as Defence Minister and is close to the king. He was educated at the College De La Salle, Amman, Jordan (1970) and then went on to Cardiff University, United Kingdom where he received a degree in Political Science in 1978. In 1981, he did a master's degree in international relations in Boston University in the United States.

Tawfik Abu al-Huda served several terms as Prime Minister of Jordan. First he served as Prime minister of Transjordan from September 28, 1938 to October 15, 1944, and he served another term from December 28, 1947 to April 12, 1950. Between July 25, 1951 and May 5, 1953 and from May 4, 1954 to May 30, 1955 he served as Prime Minister of Jordan. During his last term as Prime Minister, he tried to consolidate the power of King Hussein by holding parliamentary elections which many accused of being fraudulent. His terms are notable for the 1948 Arab-Israeli War, during which Transjordan conquered the West Bank, and the forced abdication of King Talal.

Marouf al-Bakhit Jordanian politician

Marouf Suleiman al-Bakhit was a Jordanian politician and two-time Prime Minister. He first served as Prime Minister from 27 November 2005 until 25 November 2007 and then again from 9 February 2011 to 17 October 2011. Bakhit also held the position of Jordanian ambassador to Israel and the national security chief. Appointed as Prime Minister by King Abdullah II less than three weeks after the 2005 Amman bombings, Bakhit's main priorities were to maintain security and stability in Jordan. He was reappointed as Prime Minister by the King on 1 February 2011, following weeks of protests.
