This is a list of statistics and records of the Sri Lanka Premier League , a Twenty20 cricket competition based in Sri Lanka. The statistics and records included in this article take into account only those matches where two SLPL teams were playing against each other as part of an SLPL season. They do not include the results of trial games, exhibition matches, or games played in other tournaments such as the Champions League Twenty20.

Sahan Hewa Thilina Kandambi is a former Sri Lankan cricketer and a former T20 international captain for Sri Lanka. A specialist middle-order batsman, Kandambi was marked out as a talent early, playing for the Sri Lanka Under 19s from 1998 to 2001. He also played ten first class games for the Sri Lanka A cricket team. In January 2021 he was appointed as the head coach of T10 team Bangla Tigers.
Dihan Avishka Gunawardene, is a former Sri Lankan cricketer, who played Tests and ODne Day Internationals. He served as the Sri Lanka A team coach for many years, and was later appointed batting coach of the national team in 2017. At present, he is the Head Coach of the Sri Lanka Under-19 cricket team.
The R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium(RPS) is a cricket stadium on Khettarama Road, Maligawatta, Colombo, Sri Lanka. The stadium was, before June 1994, known as the Khettarama Cricket Stadium and is today one of the main venues where the Sri Lankan cricket team play, having hosted more than 100 one day international matches. It is the largest stadium in Sri Lanka with a capacity of 40000 spectators. It has hosted the 2012 ICC World Twenty20 finals between Sri Lanka and West Indies, 2002 ICC Champions Trophy finals between Sri Lanka and India and first semi final of the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup between Sri Lanka and New Zealand. This was where the highest Test score in the history was recorded; 952 by Sri Lanka against India. With capacity exceeding The Lord's stadium in England, the stadium is known as the "home of Sri Lankan cricket".
Chamara Kantha Kapugedera, commonly Chamara Kapugedera, is a former international Sri Lankan cricketer who played all formats of the game, and was a former One Day International captain.
Chinthaka Umesh Jayasinghe is a former Sri Lankan T20I cricketer. He is a past student of Dharmapala College, Pannipitiya.
The Sri Lanka Premier League (SLPL) was a Twenty20 cricket competition in Sri Lanka. It was intended to be the premier Twenty20 league in the country, held by Sri Lanka Cricket, when it replaced the Inter-Provincial Twenty20 competition.
Kande Arachchige Isuru Udana Tillakaratna is a former Sri Lankan cricketer who represented Sri Lanka internationally in limited over formats. He currently plays domestic cricket for Tamil Union and Wayamba. Primarily a left arm fast bowler, Udana evolved as an all-rounder in late 2018. On 31 July 2021, Udana announced his retirement from international cricket.
Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium, also known as Sooriyawewa International Cricket Stadium, and abbreviately as MRIC Stadium, is an international cricket stadium in Hambantota, Sri Lanka. It was built for the 2011 Cricket World Cup and hosted two matches, the first being Sri Lanka against Canada, on 20 February 2011. The stadium has a capacity of 35,000 people making It the second largest stadium in Sri Lanka.
The 2011 Sri Lanka Premier League was a postponed Twenty20 cricket league. It was scheduled as the first edition of the new Twenty20 domestic cricket competition in Sri Lanka, from 19 July to 4 August. It was postponed until 2012, which was held as the 2012 Sri Lanka Premier League, after problems due to allegations of corruption and incompetence by Sri Lanka Cricket. The Board of Control for Cricket in India had also decided not to allow Indian players to play in the tournament.
SLC Super Provincial Twenty20, earlier known as SLC Inter-Provincial Twenty20, is a Twenty20 domestic Cricket competition in Sri Lanka held by Sri Lanka Cricket. It is one of three Inter-Provincial Cricket tournaments. Sri Lanka used to have a Twenty20 Tournament which was conducted from 2004–2008 and was held between the clubs in Sri Lanka. From 2008 to 2011 the Inter-Provincial Twenty20 became the mainstream domestic Twenty20 competition in Sri Lanka. Wayamba elevens has been in all finals and won the first three tournaments, while Ruhuna won the final tournament. It was replaced by the Sri Lanka Premier League in 2012, but later revived in 2016, as Super Fours Provincial T20 Tournament. but it was replaced by SLC Twenty20 Tournament and SLC T20 League
Ranaweera Mudiyanselage Shaminda Eranga, or Shaminda Eranga, is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer. He is the only bowler in history to have taken a wicket in his first over in all formats of the game. He studied at St. Mary's College in Chilaw.
The 2012 Sri Lanka Premier League season was the debut edition of the Sri Lanka Premier League, established by Sri Lanka Cricket in 2011. The season ran from 11 to 31 August 2012. The tournament was originally scheduled to begin in 2011 but it was postponed to 2012, with the former Inter-Provincial Twenty20 taking its place.

Wayamba United was a franchise cricket team that took part in Sri Lanka Premier League, representing North Western Province. Wadhawan Holdings Private Limited purchased the team for $5.02 million in 2012 for a seven-year contract.
The Kandurata Warriors is a Twenty20 cricket team that competes in the Sri Lanka Premier League, representing Central Province. Somerset Entertainment Ventures (S) Pte Ltd purchased the team for $5.32 million in 2012. They were owned for seven years, after which a new agreement may be negotiated.

The Lanka Premier League (Sinhala: ලංකා ප්රිමියර් ලීග්, Tamil: லங்கா பிரீமியர் லீக்) is a professional cricket league in Sri Lanka in Twenty20 format contested every year by teams representing Sri Lankan cities from 2020. The league was founded by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) in 2018. In August 2020, Ravin Wickramaratne, the Vice President of SLC was officially appointed as the director of the tournament.
Gangodawila Appuhamilage Sanjaya Kumara Gangodawila is a Sri Lankan cricketer who played for Bloomfield Cricket and Athletic Club, Kandurata cricket team and for the Basnahira cricket team in 53 First-class cricket matches, 52 List A cricket matches and 15 T20 cricket matches between 2006-2015.
