Tsukihime is a Japanese adult visual novel game created by Type-Moon, who first released it at the Winter Comiket in December 2000. In 2003, it was adapted into both an anime television series, Lunar Legend Tsukihime, animated by J.C.Staff, and a manga series, which was serialized between 2003 and 2010 in MediaWorks shōnen magazine Dengeki Daioh, with ten volumes released.
The Garden of Sinners, known in Japan as Kara no Kyoukai sometimes referred to as Rakkyo (らっきょ), is a Japanese light novel series, written by Kinoko Nasu and illustrated by Takashi Takeuchi. Originally released as a series of chapters released independently online or at Comiket between October 1998 and August 1999, the chapters were later republished by Kodansha into two volumes in 2004, and again in three volumes between 2007 and 2008.

Witch on the Holy Night is a visual novel developed and published by the Japanese company Type-Moon. It was first released for Windows on April 12, 2012 in Japan. An enhanced version with voice acting was released by Aniplex worldwide for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on December 8, 2022, and was released for Windows via Steam on December 14, 2023. It is largely a kinetic novel: the user experiences a linear plotline with little variation or player choices. The game is a prequel to Tsukihime.
Modern Magic Made Simple is a Japanese light novel series by, and the debut work of, Hiroshi Sakurazaka, with illustrations by Miki Miyashita. As of March 25, 2009, six volumes have been published by Shueisha under their Super Dash Bunko imprint. A new edition of the first light novel was released on April 25, 2008. A manga adaptation started serialization in the shōnen magazine Jump Square on August 4, 2008. An anime adaptation was announced in October 2008.
