Gregory Rusedski is a British and Canadian former tennis player. He was the British No. 1 in 1997, 1999 and 2006, and reached the ATP ranking of world No. 4 for periods from 6 October 1997 to 12 October 1997 and from 25 May 1998 to 21 June 1998.

Andy Murray British tennis player (born 1987)

Sir Andrew Barron Murray is a British professional tennis player from Scotland. He was ranked world No. 1 by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) for 41 weeks, and finished as the year-end No. 1 in 2016. He has won three Grand Slam singles titles, two at Wimbledon and one at the US Open (2012), and has reached eleven major finals. Jonas Björkman Swedish tennis player and coach

Jonas Lars Björkman is a Swedish former professional tennis player. He is a former world No. 1 in doubles, and also a former world No. 4 in singles. Björkman retired from professional tennis after competing at the 2008 Tennis Masters Cup doubles championships. As of 2019, he is ranked in the top 40 on the all-time ATP prize money list with over $14.5 million.

Donald Young (tennis) American tennis player

Donald Oliver Young Jr. is an American professional tennis player. Young had a career-high ATP singles ranking of World No. 38 achieved on 27 February 2012 and doubles ranking of No. 43 achieved on 14 August 2017. As a junior he was ranked No. 1 in the world in 2005. His best singles performance in the Grand Slams was reaching the fourth round of the 2011 US Open, as well as the 2015 US Open. In doubles he reached the final of the 2017 French Open partnering Santiago González.

Two-time defending champion Roger Federer successfully defended his title, defeating Andy Roddick in a rematch of the previous year's final, 6–2, 7–6(7–2), 6–4 to win the gentlemen's singles tennis title at the 2005 Wimbledon Championships. It was Federer's third Wimbledon title and fifth major title overall. Federer defeated Roddick in the final for the second consecutive year, and would defeat him again in the 2009 final as well.

The Aberdeen Cup was an annual exhibition tennis tournament held between national teams representing England and Scotland. It was hosted in the Aberdeen Exhibition Centre in Aberdeen, Scotland. The tournament was held in 2005 and 2006, but there has been no indication that the tournament will be played again.

Harsh Mankad is a former world ranked ATP Professional tennis player from India. He played Davis Cup for India between 2001–2010 and was the No. 1 singles player on the team for several of those years.

Pere Riba Spanish tennis player

Pere Riba Madrid is a Spanish former professional tennis player. Riba competed on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ATP World Tour, both in singles and doubles. He reached his highest ATP singles ranking, No. 65, on May 16, 2011, and his highest ATP doubles ranking, No. 81, on June 7, 2010. Riba was coached by former Spanish player Jordi Arrese, and Juanse Martínez. At one point in his career he ranked as the youngest Spaniard in the top 100, but injury saw his ranking drop to as low 843 in early 2013.

Infosys Hall of Fame Open Tennis tournament

The Infosys Hall of Fame Open is an international tennis tournament that has been held every year in July since 1976 at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, Rhode Island, the original location of the U.S. National Championships. The event, which was part of the Grand Prix tennis circuit from 1976 to 1989, features a 32-player singles draw and a doubles tournament. Each year that the tournament has been held there is an induction ceremony for the Hall of Fame. The tournament is held on outdoor grass courts, and is the last grass court tournament of the season on the ATP tour and the only grass court tournament played outside Europe, as well as the only one played after Wimbledon. Up until 2011, when John Isner won the tournament, the top seed had never triumphed at Newport, a trait that has led to the moniker "the Casino Curse", due to the location of the Hall of Fame at the Newport Casino.

The 2011 Aegon Championships was a men's tennis tournament played on outdoor grass courts. It was the 109th edition of the Aegon Championships and was part of the ATP World Tour 250 series of the 2011 ATP World Tour. It took place at the Queen's Club in London, United Kingdom, in the club's 125th year. The tournament was scheduled to take place between 6 and 12 June 2011, however the finals were delayed to 13 June 2011 due to rain. The field was headlined by the 2008 champion and current world number one Rafael Nadal, four-time champion Andy Roddick, 2009 champion Andy Murray and defending champion Sam Querrey.

2011 Novak Djokovic tennis season

The 2011 Novak Djokovic tennis season is widely regarded as one of the greatest seasons ever in men's tennis. He ended the year with an impressive 10–1 record against Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer, the other two best players of the year. From the start of the year, he went undefeated until the French Open semifinals in June, compiling a 41-match winning streak. Djokovic won ten tournaments, three of them Grand Slam events: the Australian Open, Wimbledon Championships and the US Open. He won a then record five Masters Series 1000 titles: Indian Wells, Miami and Canada, played on hard courts, and Madrid and Rome, on clay. Djokovic also won in Dubai and at the Serbia Open.
