This article is a list of United States Air Force aeromedical evacuation squadrons both active, inactive, and historical. An aeromedical evacuation squadron's purpose is to evacuate wounded military personnel and civilians from areas of danger to medical facilities with the use of military transport aircraft.

The 35th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron was an aeromedical evacuation unit assigned to Air Force Reserve Command. The unit was stationed at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama and assigned to the 908th Airlift Wing. The 35th mission was to recruit, organize and train Air Force reservists for active duty in time of war, national emergency or when otherwise required. When mobilized, the mission of the 35th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron was to provide in-flight medical care to the sick and wounded. In 1994 the unit was redesignated the 908th AES.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">12th Aeromedical Airlift Squadron</span> Military unit

The 12th Aeromedical Airlift Squadron in an inactive United States Air Force unit. From 1956 through 1969, it flew aeromedical evacuation missions from McGuire Air Force Base. In 1985, the squadron was consolidated with two World War II units, but remained inactive. The consolidated squadrons were the 12th Ferrying Squadron, which ferried aircraft to Europe and from factories to flying units from 1942 and 1944; and the 162d Liaison Squadron, which tested equipment and developed tactics for liaison units between 1944 and 1946.
