The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania is the business school of the University of Pennsylvania, a private Ivy League research university in Philadelphia. It is the world's oldest collegiate business school, established in 1881 through a donation from Joseph Wharton.

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) is an American philanthropic organization. It is the largest one focused solely on health. Based in Princeton, New Jersey, the foundation focuses on access to health care, public health, health equity, leadership and training, and changing systems to address barriers to health. RWJF has been credited with helping to develop the 911 emergency system, reducing tobacco use among Americans, lowering rates of unwanted teenage pregnancies, and improving perceptions of hospice care.

Janice R. Bellace is a Professor Emeritus of Legal Studies & Business Ethics at the Wharton School of Business. She held the Samuel Blank Chair in Legal Studies from 1996 until 2018. She is the author of numerous academic books, chapters, articles and papers; her research interests are in the field of labor and employment law, particularly international labor law.

Risa J. Lavizzo-Mourey is an American medical doctor and executive who served as president and CEO of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation from 2003 to 2017. She was the first woman and the first African-American to head the foundation, which has an endowment of about $8 billion and distributes more than $400 million a year. She has been named one of the 100 Most Powerful Women by Forbes several times, and one of The Grio's History Makers in the Making. She was elected a Member of the American Philosophical Society in 2016.

Kevin Werbach is an American academic, businessman and author. In 2002, he founded the Supernova Group, a technology analysis and consulting firm. Since 2004, Werbach is an Associate Professor of Legal Studies and Business Ethics at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He writes about business, policy, and social implications of emerging Internet and communications technologies.

Serguei Netessine is a scientist, educator, academic administrator and startup investor. He is Senior Vice Dean for Innovation and Global Initiatives and Dhirubhai Ambani Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania. Previously, he was Professor of Global Technology and Innovation at INSEAD and the Research Director of INSEAD-Wharton alliance. He is best known for his work on Business Model Innovation, Operational Excellence and Supply Chain Management.

Mark V. Pauly is an American economist whose work focuses on healthcare management and business economics. He is currently the Bendheim Professor in the Department of Health Care Management at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Pauly is a former commissioner on the Physician Payment Review Commission, and has been a consultant to the Congressional Budget Office, the Office of the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the American Enterprise Institute, and served on the Medicare Technical Advisory Panel. He is also the Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Springer journal International Journal of Health Care Finance and Economics, and was formerly the Robert D. Eilers Professor from 1984 to 1989.

Brigitte C. Madrian is a behavioral economist and is the ninth dean of the Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University (BYU). She is the first woman to serve as dean and has a joint appointment in the Department of Finance and the George W. Romney Institute of Public Service and Ethics.

Taylor R. Randall is an American educator and academic administrator. In 2009, Randall was appointed the Dean of the University of Utah David Eccles School of Business and in August of 2021, he was appointed as the 17th President of the University of Utah.
