The Bangladeshi ambassador to Turkey is the official representative of the Government of Bangladesh to the Government of Turkey. [1]
Anwar Bakht Choudhury is a British diplomat of Bangladeshi origin. Through his career, he has served as Governor of the Cayman Islands, British Ambassador to Peru, Director of International Institutions at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and British High Commissioner to Bangladesh. Choudhury has spent much of his life working intimately with the British Bangladeshi community, cementing himself as a respected figure through his many public appearances and charitable work.

In the Commonwealth of Nations, a high commissioner is the senior diplomat, generally ranking as an ambassador, in charge of the diplomatic mission of one Commonwealth government to another. Instead of an embassy, the diplomatic mission is generally called a high commission.
Mohamed Mijarul Quayes was a Bangladeshi career diplomat. He was appointed Bangladesh's ambassador to the Federative Republic of Brazil in 2014 and high commissioner to the Court of St James's in the United Kingdom from 2012 to 2014. Prior to this, Quayes served as foreign secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the government of Bangladesh. He was previously the Bangladeshi ambassador to the Russian Federation and served as high commissioner to the Maldives prior to his posting to Moscow.
Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali is the former finance minister of Bangladesh who also served as parliamentarian and cabinet minister including the Foreign Minister of Bangladesh from 2013 to 2019. He previously served as Minister of Disaster Management and Relief from 2012 to 2013.
Kamrul Ahsan, a career foreign service officer, served as Bangladesh Ambassador to the Russian Federation from January 2020 to September 2024. During his tenure in Moscow, he was also concurrently accredited as his country's Ambassador to the Republic of Belarus and Kazakhstan. Before joining in his position in Moscow, he served as Secretary for Bilateral and Consular Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh.
Saida Muna Tasneem is a Bangladeshi diplomat who has served as High Commissioner of Bangladesh to the United Kingdom and Ambassador to Ireland and Liberia from November 2018 to September 2024. She is the first woman to hold these positions. She is the incumbent First Vice-President to the International Maritime Organization (IMO) since January 2024. She was formerly the High Commissioner to Thailand and Cambodia and Bangladesh's representative to the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific.
