It is found in lowland coastal plains of eastern South Africa, Eswatini, and southern Mozambique. The AmphibiaWeb includes Afrixalus crotalus in this species as a subspecies, whereas the Amphibian Species of the World and the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species treat A. crotalus as a full species.

Ischnocnema sanctaecrucis is a frog species in the family Craugastoridae. It is endemic to Bolivia where it is known from the Santa Cruz and Cochabamba Departments. It is an uncommon, terrestrial frog inhabiting the Yungas forest ; it tolerates disturbed habitats. It has been found under rocks; males have been observed perching on small secondary vegetation. It is not considered threatened by the IUCN. Its range includes the Carrasco and Amboró National Parks.

Aubria subsigillata, commonly known as the brown ball frog or the West African brown frog, is a species of frog belonging to the family Pyxicephalidae. It has a discontinuous distribution from southern Guinea through Liberia and Ivory Coast, and from Nigeria to southern Cameroon, and Equatorial Guinea to Gabon. However, the species delimitation differs between sources, and the International Union for Conservation of Nature has adopted a narrower view where this species only occurs in Cameroon and southward.
Eleutherodactylus diplasius, the patternless whistling frog, is a species of frog in the family Eleutherodactylidae. A native of Haiti, it can be found in the Tiburon Peninsula northwest, to the Massif de la Hotte. It has an estimated polygon range of ca. 814 km2, spanning an elevational range of 0–1,207 m asl. In July 2011 it was found in at Morne Deux Mamelles.
