This is a list of awards and nominations for Zhao Wei, whose acting career in motion pictures, television, and music career in mandpop recording.

Contents

On 27 May 2010, the 13th Shanghai International Film Festival announced that Zhao would make her comeback as a judge on the panel, [1] alongside John Woo, Leos Carax, Amos Gitai, Bill Guttentag, Yōjirō Takita and Wang Xiaoshuai. [2] On 12 June 2010, Zhao attracted immense media attention and cheers from her fans throughout the day at the Shanghai International Film Festival, and she stated that she was pleased to see such a good turnout from the press. [3]

On 19 July 2011, the 20th Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival announced the Retrospective honoured actress, Zhao. The Retrospective will present Zhao's films on screen. [4] On 6 August, Zhao was recruited as vice-president of China Television Actors Guild. [5]

On 3 June 2015, Zhao Wei became the first ever Chinese actress to have left her handprints and footprints at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Zhaoweihandprints.jpg

In July 2016, she was named as a member of the main competition jury for the 73rd Venice International Film Festival, alongside Sam Mendes, Lorenzo Vigas, Nina Hoss, Gemma Arterton, Laurie Anderson, Joshua Oppenheimer, Chiara Mastroianni and Giancarlo De Cataldo. [6]

In September 2017, she was named as a member of the main competition jury for the 30th Tokyo International Film Festival, alongside Tommy Lee Jones, Reza Mirkarimi, Martin Provost and Masatoshi Nagase. [7]

In March 2018, Zhao Wei was named as a member of the finale-round jury for the 9th China Film Directors Guild Award, alongside Zhang Yimou, Li Shaohong and other directors. [8]

The Longest Day in Chang'an is a 2019 Chinese historical suspense drama directed by Cao Dun and written by Paw Studio. The series stars Lei Jiayin and Jackson Yee. It is based on the novel of the same name by Ma Boyong. The Longest Day in Chang'an is produced jointly by Youku, Beijing Weying Technology Co., Ltd, Liu Bai Entertainment and Yuyue Film Co., Ltd. The series follows the characters Zhang Xiaojing and Li Bi, and their efforts to foil a terrorist attack on Chang'an, the capital of the Tang dynasty (618–907). It began airing in China on Youku from June 27, 2019.

<i>The Thunder</i> (TV series) 2019 Chinese TV series or program

The Thunder is a 2019 Chinese web television series based on the actual events of Chinese authorities' raid of Boshe village in Guangdong province in December 2013. The series released on the Chinese streaming website iQiyi on 7 May 2019, followed by the television premiere on CCTV-8 three days later.
