The Anglican Church of Southern Africa, known until 2006 as the Church of the Province of Southern Africa, is the province of the Anglican Communion in the southern part of Africa. The church has twenty-five dioceses, of which twenty-one are located in South Africa, and one each in Eswatini, Lesotho, Namibia and Saint Helena. In South Africa, there are between 3 and 4 million Anglicans out of an estimated population of 45 million.
The Diocese of Niassa it is one of the three Anglican dioceses of Mozambique, part of the Anglican Church of Mozambique and Angola. This diocese is geographically the central of the three, the others being the Diocese of Lebombo and the Diocese of Nampula.

Caloocan Cathedral, known canonically as San Roque Cathedral-Parish, is the cathedral or seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kalookan, located near the intersection of 10th Avenue and A. Mabini Street in Poblacion, Caloocan, Metro Manila, Philippines. The church is located some meters away from the poblacion or central vicinity of the city. Its present parish priest is Pablo Virgilio S. David, the Bishop of Kalookan, and its rector is Jeronimo Maria J. Cruz.
Carlos Simão Matsinhe is a Mozambican Anglican bishop. He is the 11th Anglican bishop of the Lebombo, Mozambique. The second Mozambican-born bishop of Lebombo, he is the symbolic head of the Anglican church in Mozambique. Matsinhe was formerly the dean of Maciene Cathedral, serving for over 15 years. Matsinhe's theology embraces the social tradition within Anglicanism and advocates an active participation of the church in education, health and environmental affairs.

The current structure dates from 1974 and replaces the old cathedral of Inhambane that has a strong Portuguese influence and now has the condition of parochial church.

Vicente Msosa is a Mozambican Anglican bishop. He has been the bishop of the Diocese of Niassa, in Mozambique, at the Anglican Church of Southern Africa, since 1 April 2017. He was installed the youngest bishop of the Anglican Communion, aged 35 years old. He is married to Anastacia and they have three children.
The Church of Our Lady of Liberation, commonly known as the Old Cathedral, is an 18th-century Roman Catholic church in Quelimane, Mozambique. It is located at the southern end of the city, facing the banks of the Quelimane River. Built by Portuguese missionaries in the 1770s and 80s, it was named a national monument in 1943. Upon the establishment of the Diocese of Quelimane in 1954, it was elevated to cathedral status. When the New Cathedral of Quelimane was completed in 1976, the old cathedral was abandoned. Although it has fallen into decay, it remains a city landmark and a tourist attraction, and there are plans to restore the building in 2018.

The Anglican Church of Mozambique and Angola [Igreja Anglicana de Moçambique e Angola (IAMA)] is the 42nd ecclesiastical province of the world-wide Anglican Communion. Established in 2021, is the newest province to have been erected. Previously the dioceses which constitute this new province were parts of the Anglican Church of Southern Africa. The new province adopted its constitution and canons at a special synod, and was formally inaugurated on 24 September 2021, in an online teleconference including Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury, and Josiah Idowu-Fearon, Secretary-General of the Anglican Consultative Council.
