Mohammad Yazdi was an Iranian conservative and principlist cleric who served as the head of Judiciary System of Iran between 1989 and 1999. In 2015, he was elected to lead Iran's Assembly of Experts, defeating Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, a former president, by a vote count of 47 to 24.

Iranian Academy of Arts (IAA) was established in March 2000. It is one of the four academies of the Islamic Republic of Iran; the other three academies are the Iranian Academy of Medical Sciences, the Iranian Academy of Sciences, and the Academy of Persian Language and Literature. The IAA is an authorized entity affiliated with presidential administration.

The fourth Iranian Assembly of Experts election was held on 15 December 2006. The Assembly of Experts is a Council of 86 mujtahids that elect the Supreme Leader, and oversee his actions. The members of the Assembly are elected every eight years directly by the people of Iran.

Ayatollah Abbas Ka'bi Nasab is an Iranian Twelver Shi'a cleric who was born in Ahwaz in 1962 into a religious family. Records mention that he is one of the 12 members of the Guardian Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, a member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom, a professor of a university, a member and the vice-president of the security committee of the Assembly of Experts for Leadership, and other significant positions.

The fifth Iranian Assembly of Experts election were held in Iran on 26 February 2016 to elect the members of the Assembly of Experts. All 88 members of the Assembly of Experts, who are known as mujtahids, are directly elected. The elections had been planned for 2014, but were delayed in order for the election to be held alongside the Islamic Consultative Assembly elections.

Jamshid Ghanbari Maman is an Iranian politician, former chief executive officer and expert on transportation who acts as an adviser of Civil Commission of Islamic Consultative Assembly of I.R.Iran. He was a member of Islamic Consultative Assembly of I.R.Iran in fourth and fifth parliament, also He has been active as First Deputy chairman and chairman of Transportation, Housing and Urban Development Commission of Islamic Consultative Assembly of I.R.Iran.

Seyed Abolfazl Rihani, was known as Ayatollah Seyed Abolfazl Mousavi Tabrizi. He was a member of the Assembly of Experts, involved with the creation of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran being a member of the Assembly of Experts for Constitution, and was the Prosecutor-General of Iran.

Sheikh Zaynolabideen Ghorbani Persian: شیخ زین‌العابدین قربانی, is an Iranian Ayatollah. He represented the Supreme Leader of Iran for Gilan Province, as well as leading prayers in Lahijan and Rasht. He represented the people in Gilan for both the Assembly of Experts, and Islamic Consultative Assembly.

Sheikh Ahmad Mohseni Garakani Persian: شیخ احمد محسنی گرکانی, is an Iranian Ayatollah. He was the Imam of Friday Prayer in Tuyserkan and the Chief of the Supreme Court of Iran, as well as representing the people of Markazi province in the Assembly of Experts from 1998 to 2024.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Mohammad Shahcheraghi</span> Iranian Ayatollah

Seyed Mohammad Shahcheraghi Persian: سید محمد شاهچراغی, is an Iranian Ayatollah. He represented the Supreme Leader of Iran in Semnan province, as well being the Imam of Friday Prayer in Semnan. He was elected by the people of Semnan province to represent them in the Assembly of Experts for two terms. He was a member of Assembly of Experts until May 2024.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Mohammad Faghie</span> Iranian Ayatollah (1942-2022)

Seyed Mohammad Faghie Persian: سید محمد فقیه, was an Iranian Ayatollah. He was chosen by Ruhollah Khomeini as the Imam of Friday Prayer in Neyriz from the Iranian Revolution until his death. He represented the people of Fars province in the Assembly of Experts in the second and fifth terms. He died while in office during the fifth term.
