The Archdiocese of New York is a Latin Church ecclesiastical territory or archdiocese of the Catholic Church located in the State of New York. It encompasses the boroughs of Manhattan, the Bronx and Staten Island in New York City and the counties of Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster, and Westchester to the north of the city. It does not include Brooklyn and Queens, which are part of the Diocese of Brooklyn.

Anthony Joseph Bevilacqua was an American cardinal of the Catholic Church. He served as archbishop of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia from 1988 to 2003. Bevilacqua previously served as bishop of the Diocese of Pittsburgh from 1983 to 1987 and as an auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of Brooklyn from 1980 to 1983. He was elevated to the cardinalate in 1991.
John Joseph Cardinal Carberry was an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He served as archbishop of the Archdiocese of St. Louis in Missouri from 1968 to 1979, and was created a cardinal in 1969. He previously served as bishop of the Diocese of Lafayette in Indiana from 1957 to 1965 and bishop of the Diocese of Columbus in Ohio from 1965 to 1968.
Vincent DePaul Breen was an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church who served as the third bishop of the Diocese of Metuchen in central New Jersey from 1997 until his resignation in 2002.
Gerald Michael Barbarito is an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He has served as bishop of the Diocese of Palm Beach in Florida since August 28, 2003. He previously served as bishop of the Diocese of Ogdensburg in Northern New York from 1999 to 2003 and as an auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of Brooklyn in New York City from 1994 to 1999.
Timothy Anthony McDonnell is an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. McDonnell served as bishop of the Diocese of Springfield in Massachusetts from 2004 to 2014 and as an auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of New York from 2001 to 2004.
Cathedral Preparatory School and Seminary is a Roman Catholic high school and seminary in Elmhurst, Queens in New York City. It is operated by the Diocese of Brooklyn. It is the last full-time high school seminary day school in operation in the United States.

St. Ann's Cathedral was an Armenian Catholic cathedral and national shrine located in New York, New York, United States. It was the seat for the Eparchy of Our Lady of Nareg. The church had two locations in the city: the former St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church on East 12th Street in the Lower East Side of Manhattan and at the former St. Vincent de Paul Church in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The Armenian Catholic parish of St. Ann continues to function in a church in Brooklyn.
