This list of fictional cats and other felines in television is subsidiary to the list of fictional cats. This list includes feline puppet characters. It is restricted solely to notable feline characters from notable live action (or primarily live-action) television programmes. For characters that appear in several separate shows, only the earliest appearance will be recorded here.

Felix was the first fully realized animal character in the history of American film animation.

Catscratch is an American animated television series created by Doug TenNapel. It aired on Nickelodeon from July 9, 2005, to February 10, 2007. It is a loose adaptation of TenNapel's comic book series, Gear, which in the series is also the name of the cats' monster truck. Salem Saberhagen is a character from the American Archie Comics comic series Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Salem is an American Shorthair cat who lives with Sabrina Spellman, Hilda Spellman and Zelda Spellman in the fictional town of Greendale, located near Riverdale. A formerly human witch, Salem was sentenced by the Witch's Council to spend 100 years as a cat, as punishment for trying to take over the world. Salem first appeared alongside Sabrina in Archie's Mad House #22 in 1962, and was created by George Gladir and Dan DeCarlo.

The cat, also known as the domestic cat or house cat to distinguish it from other felines, is a small carnivorous species of crepuscular mammal that is often valued by humans for its companionship and its ability to hunt vermin.

Hector the Cat is a fictional cat and mascot created to aid the teaching of road safety to children in Australia. Educational material relating to the character was developed by the Australian Department of Transport in association with state and territory road authorities. "Hector's road safety song" became well known in Australia when it was shown as a public service announcement on television. The blue and yellow striped cat first appeared on a school calendar in 1971 with a storyline that he had lost eight of his nine lives due to "ignorance of road safety practices". This was followed by a short instructional film. In subsequent years other characters were introduced in calendars, instructional films, and comic books including Millie, his girlfriend (1973), Uncle Tom (1974), Hector and Millie's three kittens (1975) and his space friend Ding Dong (1982).
