Tun Mohammed Hanif bin Omar was a Malaysian police officer who served as the 4th Inspector-General of Royal Malaysia Police from June 1974 to January 1994. Assuming office at the age of 35, he was the youngest police officer appointed to the top post. He was also the longest-serving Inspector General of Police for 20 years.
Tengku Dato' Setia Putra Al-Haj bin Tengku Azman Shah Al-Haj is a Malaysian corporate figure and member of the Selangor royal family and Kelantan royal family. He is the first son of Tengku Bendahara Tengku Azman Shah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Hisamuddin Alam Shah. He is a first cousin of the current Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah and also a first cousin once removed to the current Sultan of Kelantan, Sultan Muhammad V. He is currently holding the position as Selangor Palace Major Chief and has been appointed as a royal council member of Selangor Council of the Royal Court for 6 terms since 2007, which been re-appointed lately on 1 December 2022 as one of the major members in advisory body to the Sultan of Selangor.
The Most Illustrious Order of the Crown of Selangor is an order awarded by Sultan of Selangor as a reward for general services to the sultan and state of Selangor. It was founded in 1961. The order is awarded to the relatives of the Sultan of Selangor as well as high-ranking individuals who have contributed excellence to the Sultan of Selangor and the Sultan's Government. The Sultan also has the right to bestow this Degree of Excellence to anyone whom he deems fit and appropriate to receive it.
The Order of Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah is an order awarded by Sultan of Selangor as a reward for general services to the sultan and state of Selangor. It was founded on 14 December 2002 to replace the abolished Order of Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah. The order is awarded to high-ranking individuals who have contributed excellence to the Sultan of Selangor and His Majesty's Government.
