Żebbuġ, Gozo Local council in Gozo Region, Malta

Żebbuġ is an administrative unit of Malta, in the northwest coast of the island of Gozo. It is located close to Għarb and Għasri and is built on two hilltop plateaus, Ta' Abram and Ix-Xagħra taż-Żebbuġ. The fishing port and tourist resort of Marsalforn lies within the Żebbuġ Council. The village has a population of 2,956, which makes it the fifth largest in Gozo, after Xewkija.

Nadur is an administrative unit of Malta, located in the Eastern part of island of Gozo. Nadur is built on a plateau, it is one of the largest localities in Gozo. Known as the 'second city', it spreads along a high ridge to the east of Victoria. It had a population of 4509 as of March 2014.

Marsalforn Town in Malta

Marsalforn, also written as M'Forn for shortcut purposes, is a town on the north coast of Gozo, the second largest island of the Maltese archipelago. The town lies between the hill-top towns of Xagħra and Żebbuġ. Associated with this town there is also the bay of Qbajjar. The town is part of the Żebbuġ local council. Marsalforn is one of the most popular tourist resorts on Gozo. It is well served with hotels, guest houses, restaurants, bars, and beaches. There is only a one small sandy beach in Marsalforn, however, along the rocky coastline there are a number of interesting swimming spots.

Malta is for non-local government purposes divided into districts as opposed to the local government localities. The three main types of such districts – statistical, electoral at national level, and policing – have no mainstream administrative effect as the local councils form the first-tier – moreover only administrative tier – divisions of the country.

This is a list of the extreme points of the Malta. The points that are farther north, south, east or west than any other location. Malta is composed of an archipelago of seven islands.

The 2008–09 Maltese Second Division season, also known as the 2008–09 BOV 2nd Division due to sponsorship reason) started on 27 September 2008 and ended on 10 May 2009. Mellieha and Marsa were relegated from the First Division. The promoted teams were Gozo FC and Zebbug Rangers. Zebbug had to start the season with a five point deduction due to incidents which occurred the previous season. The 2008–09 Maltese Second Division was won by Balzan Youths.The runners-up were Melita, who finished 2 points off Lija Athletic. Mgarr United and Marsa were relegated to the Third Division. This was the third straight relegation for Marsa, who 3 years previously were competing in the Premier League and now have to compete in the Third Division. Naxxar Lions were also relegated as they lost in the promotion-relegation play-offs to Santa Lucia. The play-offs were won by Zurrieq.

The Maltese Second Division 2006-07 started on 23 September 2006 and ended on 6 May 2007. Lija Athletic and St.Andrews were the relegated teams. The promoted teams were Birzebbuga St.Peters, Santa Venera Lightning and Rabat Ajax. Dingli Swallows finished the league as champions. Therefore, they were promoted to 2007–08 Maltese First Division. They were joined with Mellieha who finished as runner-up. Gudja United and Gozo FC were relegated to 2007–08 Maltese Third Division. Zebbug Rangers were also relegated as they lost the relegation-playoffs.

The 2003–04 Maltese Second Division started on 27 September 2003 and ended on 3 May 2004.

In Malta most of the main roads are in the outskirts of the localities to connect one urban area with another urban area. The most important roads are those that connect the south of the island with the northern part, like Tal-Barrani Road, Aldo Moro Street in Marsa and Birkirkara Bypass.

The Parish Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into Heaven is a Roman Catholic parish church in Żebbuġ, Gozo, Malta, dedicated to the Assumption of Mary. The present building was built between 1690 and 1726 on the site of an earlier church, and it was enlarged between 1938 and 1942. The church's interior was extensively decorated using locally-sourced travertine from cave deposits in the late 20th century.

Giovanni Cefai Maltese prelate

Giovanni Cefai, MSSP is a Maltese prelate who heads the Territorial prelature of Santiago Apóstol de Huancané. Cefai was born on 5 August 1967 in Żebbuġ, in the island of Gozo in Malta. He is a priest with the Missionary Society of Saint Paul, and is the first priest of the order to be given the episcopal orders.

The 2019–20 Maltese FA Trophy was the 82nd edition of the football cup competition.
