Television in Pakistan started in 1964 and the first live transmission of Pakistan Television began on 26 November 1964, in Lahore.

Saba Qamar Zaman, known professionally as Saba Qamar, is a Pakistani actress who works predominantly in Urdu films and television. She has won several accolades including Hum Awards and two Lux Style Awards. Qamar is one of Pakistan's most popular and highest-paid actresses. Government of Pakistan honoured her with Tamgha-e-Imtiaz in 2012 and Pride of Performance in 2016.

Sanam Baloch Hisbani or Jatoi credited as Sanam Baloch is a Pakistani actress and television presenter. She has hosted various television shows, such as Sanam Small Room on KTN and the morning show on Samaa TV. As an actress, she has starred in critically acclaimed drama series, such as Dastaan (2010) and Durr-e-Shehwar (2012).

Aijaz Aslam is a Pakistani television actor, model, producer, fashion designer and entrepreneur.

Nauman Ijaz is a Pakistani television and film actor, TV anchorperson, and TV show presenter. He is the recipient of several accolades, including 10 Lux Style Awards, 7 Hum Awards and a President's Pride of Performance, which was awarded to him in 2012.

Mansoor Aslam Khan Niazi, known professionally as Sami Khan, is a Pakistani actor and model who appears in films and television dramas. He started his career with the film Salakhain in 2004 before moving to television.

Jana Malik is a Pakistani actress who appears in television serials. Jana Malik is also known as Janan or Jana. She is best known for playing the supporting character of Pashi snake charmer in the supernatural series Naagin, which aired on Geo Kahani. She was seen in the television serials Mar Jain Bhi To Kya, Parlour Wali Larki, and Ek Tamanna Lahasil Si and is well known for her lead role in the serial Aiteraaf. In addition, she has also been seen in Muhafiz, Zor in 1998.

Aehsun Talish is a Pakistani television director, producer, and actor. He has worked in many successful television dramas. Ahson made himself as a well-known television director by directing a number of hit serials, such as Deewana (2016), Alif Allah Aur Insaan (2017), Daldal (2017), Tabeer (2018), Suno Chanda (2018), Suno Chanda 2 (2019), and Yeh Dil Mera (2019). For directing the comedy series Suno Chanda, he received a nomination for the Lux Style Award for Best Director.

Saba Faisal is a Pakistani actress and former news anchor. In her career for more than a decade, she has appeared in several acclaimed television serials, theatre darma, plays and films, mainly in Urdu language.

Sahira Kazmi is a retired Pakistani actress, producer and director. She is best known for her role in the country's first-ever colour series Parchaiyan (1976) and for producing the cult-classic blockbuster series Dhoop Kinare (1987) and the acclaimed drama Nijaat (1993). She along with Uzma Gillani, Roohi Bano, Tahira Naqvi and Khalida Riyasat dominated the television screens of Pakistan during 1970s and 1980s.

Noor Ul Hassan is a Pakistani actor, television presenter, television host, and compère. He hosted the Ramadan transmission in 2011 and in 2014 for PTV Home. He appeared in acclaimed television serials such as Ishq Jalebi, Dar Si Jaati Hai Sila, Aangan, Ranjha Ranjha Kardi and Cheekh.
