Martina Hingis is a Swiss former professional tennis player. She spent a total of 209 weeks as the singles world No. 1 and 90 weeks as doubles world No. 1, holding both No. 1 rankings simultaneously for 29 weeks. She won five Grand Slam singles titles, thirteen Grand Slam women's doubles titles, winning a calendar-year doubles Grand Slam in 1998, and seven Grand Slam mixed doubles titles; for a combined total of twenty-five major titles. In addition, she won the season-ending WTA Finals two times in singles and three times in doubles, and an Olympic silver medal.
Roger Federer is a Swiss professional tennis player who is currently ranked world No. 4 in men's singles tennis by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). He has won 20 Grand Slam singles titles—the most in history for a male player—and has held the world No. 1 spot in the ATP rankings for a record total of 310 weeks, including a record 237 consecutive weeks. After turning professional in 1998, he was continuously ranked in the top ten from October 2002 to November 2016. He re-entered the top ten following his victory at the 2017 Australian Open.
Peter René Baumann, better known as DJ BoBo, is a Swiss recording artist, singer-songwriter, dancer and music producer. He has sold 14 million records worldwide and has released 12 studio albums as well as a few compilation albums which have included his previous hits in a reworked format. DJ BoBo has also released as many as 34 singles to date, some of which have charted high, not only in German speaking countries, but also in other European territories.
Alban Uzoma Nwapa, better known by his stage name Dr. Alban, is a Nigerian-born Swedish recording artist and producer with his own record label, Dr. Records. His music can best be described as a Eurodance/hip-hop reggae in a dancehall style. He sold an estimated 16 million records worldwide and is most famous for his worldwide 1992 hit "It's My Life" which was one of the songs from the album One Love.
"How We Do" is a song by American rapper and West Coast hip hop artist The Game, featuring rapper 50 Cent from his debut album, The Documentary. Produced by Dr. Dre, Mike Elizondo, it was released as the album's second official single in late 2004.
"Another Day in Paradise" is a song recorded by English drummer and singer-songwriter Phil Collins. Produced by Collins along with Hugh Padgham, it was released as the first single from his number-one album ...But Seriously (1989). As with his song for Genesis, "Man on the Corner", the track has as its subject the problem of homelessness; as such, the song was a substantial departure from the dance-pop music of his previous album, No Jacket Required (1985).
"Nobody Wants to Be Lonely" is the second single from Ricky Martin's second English album, Sound Loaded, released on January 9, 2001. Martin also recorded a Spanish version of this single, entitled "Sólo Quiero Amarte". Furthermore, Martin also released another version of the song, which featured Christina Aguilera. This duet version was later included on three of Martin's compilations: The Best of Ricky Martin, 17, 17: Greatest Hits and Greatest Hits: Souvenir Edition and the international version of Aguilera's greatest hits album, Keeps Gettin' Better: A Decade of Hits.
American singer Michael Jackson has released 72 singles. He has 13 solo US #1s and a further 4 with The Jackson 5. His first entry on the US Billboard Hot 100 was "Got to Be There" (1971), which peaked at number four. Jackson's first number-one hit was "Ben" (1972). Jackson continued to release singles through the 1970s. The album Off the Wall spawned five singles, including the chart-topping "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" (1979) and "Rock with You" (1979). Both are certified platinum by the Recording Industry of America (RIAA) sales in excess of 4 million and 2 million copies respectively. Jackson's first single to be certified by the RIAA was "The Girl Is Mine" (1982), a collaboration with Paul McCartney. The single peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100. "Billie Jean", released as the second single from his sixth studio album Thriller, topped the charts in 13 countries. The single sold more than six million copies in the United States and over 1,440,000 in the United Kingdom. "Beat It", released a month later, peaked at number one in nine countries and sold more than five million copies in the US. "Thriller" was released in November 1983 and peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100. The single sold seven million copies in the US alone, making it Jackson's best-selling single.
"All Good Things " is a song by Canadian-Portuguese singer Nelly Furtado from her third studio album Loose (2006). It was written by Furtado, Tim "Timbaland" Mosley, Chris Martin, and Nate "Danja" Hills. The song was released as the album's third European single in November 2006. It was released as the fourth single in the United States and Australia. The single featured Chris Martin, frontman of the band Coldplay, harmonizing throughout the song. The original version had him say a few words at the beginning, and sing the chorus behind Furtado. Critically, "All Good Things " was praised for having diversity in comparison to other songs on Loose, but at the same time criticized for its mellowness. Commercially, the song did well on the music charts, reaching number-one in more than fifteen countries including Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands.
U218 Singles is a greatest hits album by the Irish rock band U2, released in November 2006. In most markets, the album contains 18 songs. The first 16 tracks are 16 of their most successful and popular singles. The 17th track is a cover version, in collaboration with Green Day, of The Skids' "The Saints Are Coming" to benefit Hurricane Katrina charities. The 18th and closing track is a new song called, "Window in the Skies". However, in some markets, such as the United Kingdom, an extra song, "I Will Follow", is added to the track list as the opening track. U218 Videos, a DVD featuring music videos from throughout U2's career, was released concurrently.

The Swiss Figure Skating Championships are a figure skating competition held annually to crown the national champions of Switzerland. Medals may be awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing, although not every discipline has been held in every year due to a lack of participants.
"Use Somebody" is a song by American rock group Kings of Leon. It was the second single from the band's fourth studio album Only by the Night (2008), released on December 8, 2008.
Eduard Marian Ilie, better known by his stage name Edward Maya, is a Romanian DJ and musician.
"In Love For a While" is a song performed by Swiss singer Anna Rossinelli and written by Swiss musician David Klein. It was chosen to represent Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf, Germany, and reached the final where it finished in 25th place.

The results of the national championships were used to choose the Swiss teams to the 2011 World Figure Skating Championships and the 2011 European Figure Skating Championships.
"Unbreakable" is a song by Swiss duo Sinplus, who have a contract with the record label I&G Productions. It was chosen to represent Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan. It finished 11th in the first semi-final and missed out of qualifying for the grand final.
