"Rain Over Me" is a song by Cuban-American rapper Pitbull from his sixth studio album, Planet Pit . It features vocals from Puerto Rican-American singer Marc Anthony. Both artists also co-wrote it,alongside RedOne,Bilal "The Chef" Hajji,AJ Janussi and Rachid "Rush" Aziz. It was also produced by RedOne,Rush and Jimmy Joker. It was released on June 10,2011,as the third promotional single from the album and received a full release as the album's third official single on June 8,2011.
It charted at number 30 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The song also became Pitbull's second number one single on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart as well his first number-one single on the Tropical Songs. In addition,it is Marc Anthony's sixth number-one single on the Hot Latin Songs and twentieth number-one single on the Tropical Songs,reclaiming his position as having the artist with the most number-one Tropical Songs chart after a two-year tie with Víctor Manuelle. [4] The music video was directed by David Rosseau,who also directed a previous Pitbull single,"I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)" in 2009. [5] The song is featured on the dance rhythm game, Just Dance 2020 .
"Rain Over Me" is a dance song produced by RedOne,David Rush and Jimmy Joker. [6] It contains dramatic "disco-rave" synths. [7] According to Robert Copsey of Digital Spy the song is "a step outside his [Pitbull's] usual robotic sound. [8] Bill Lamb of About.com noted that both Pitbull and Marc Anthony are of Latin Caribbean descent,referring to the song as a "superstar Latin Caribbean duet". [9]
This song also marks the second collaboration between the two artists,following their guest appearances on their 2010 single Armada Latina alongside hip hop group Crypress Hill.
The music video was released onto Pitbull's official Vevo channel on July 22,2011. The video was directed by David Rousseau. It features both Pitbull and Marc Anthony in the desert along with actress Natalie Martinez,with many water effects.
On April 13,2020,the video surpassed the 1 billion views mark,thus making it in the first 200 YouTube videos to reach this milestone. This is the third and second video to accomplish this feat for Pitbull and Marc Anthony in that order respectively. [10]

"I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)" is a song by American rapper and singer Pitbull released as the second single from his fourth album, Pitbull Starring in Rebelution. The song samples "75, Brazil Street" by Nicola Fasano and Pat Rich, which itself samples the opening horns riff from "Street Player" by Chicago. The core is from a song by Dominican rappers El Cata and Omega. The title is a reference to Calle Ocho, a street in Miami's Little Havana neighborhood.
"Hotel Room Service" is a song by American rapper Pitbull released as the third single from his fourth album, Pitbull Starring in Rebelution. It was released to both iTunes and mainstream radio on June 16, 2009. The song peaked at number eight on the US Billboard Hot 100, making it his second top 10 hit following "I Know You Want Me ".
"I Like It" is a song performed by Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias taken from his first bilingual studio album, Euphoria. It features guest vocals from American rapper Pitbull. "DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love" is a song by American singer Usher featuring American rapper Pitbull, who wrote the song with Savan Kotecha and producers Shellback and Max Martin. It was originally intended for Rihanna 2010 album Loud, but Rihanna's team turned it down. It was released to digital download on July 12, 2010, and sent to radio on August 18, 2010, as the first single from Usher's EP, Versus, which is an extension of his sixth studio album, Raymond v. Raymond. An electronic dance track with a Europop style, the song puts emphasis on its chorus, and follows the chord progression of Gm-F-E♭. "Rabiosa" is a song by Dominican singer El Cata. It achieved mainstream success when Colombian singer Shakira covered it on her ninth studio album Sale el Sol. It was written by Armando Pérez, Edward Bello, and Shakira, and released by Epic Records as the third single from the album, on 8 April 2011. Two versions of the song exist; the English-language version, which features American artist Pitbull, and the Spanish-language version, which features El Cata. It is heavily influenced by merengue and dance music. Shakira and El Cata, or Pitbull, sing about each other's sex appeal in the song.
