"Move Shake Drop" is a song by American disc jockey DJ Laz,released as the first single from his 2008 studio album Category 6. It featured vocals from fellow Americans Flo Rida,Casely and Pitbull. The backing track was composed by production duo the Diaz Brothers,who helped to write the song alongside DJ Laz and Pitbull.
The song samples the synth hook of Benny Benassi's track "Satisfaction",used as the main basis for the song. [1] Following some disputes,another version with a similar but different melody in the hook was also produced.
"Move Shake Drop" became DJ Laz's first song to appear on the US Billboard Hot 100,enterting the chart at number 86 and peaking at number 56,spending a total of five weeks on the chart. [2] On the US Latin Songs and Rhythmic Top 40 charts,the song reached numbers 49 and 40 respectively; [3] [4] it also spent twelve weeks on the now defunct US Pop 100 chart,entering at number 97 and peaking at 42. [5]
In the Philippines,it was a certified smash hit,and became a staple music of various dance competitions and showdowns in the country.

He hosted his weekday radio show in Miami on WPOW 96.5 FM,branded "Power 96",for 22 years until he left the company in April 2012. Beginning July 4,2012,the new DJ Laz Morning Show began after arbitration on the newly reformatted WRMA DJ106.7 a Bilingual Dance/Rhythmic formatted station.
Tramar Lacel Dillard,better known by his stage name Flo Rida,is an American rapper and singer. His 2007 breakout single "Low" was number one for 10 weeks in the United States and broke the record for digital download sales at the time of its release.

Casely is an American singer from Miami,Florida. In 2005,he released his debut album I'll Be on the 1st Records label. The album caught the attention of the Diaz Brothers,who signed him to their own division of Epic Records in 2007. His second album,1985,was in development in 2008 but never released;its lead-off single,"Emotional",was released in February 2008 and entered the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts. He signed to Ultra Records in 2011–2012 with the release of his single "Neva Fall". In 2014,Casely and his band,Casely and the Jank,released their EP "Brick:the Collection 2014". In 2020,Casely released a series of singles,including "Nena" with Red Rat,"Hillbilly Drip","1985" with D*L*P*,"Touch Me","Time Flies","George",and his recent double "Never Be Alone/Rude Boy Summer" with Braveboy.
