Chemnitz Hauptbahnhof is the main railway station in Chemnitz in Germany.
The Nuremberg-Bamberg line is a German railway connecting the Bavarian city of Nuremberg with Bamberg via Fürth, Erlangen, Forchheim. It is part of the northern section of the Ludwig South-North Railway. It runs along the Regnitz Valley and is one of the important German transport routes. Since 2010 line S1 of the Nuremberg S-Bahn uses the entirety of the line from Nuremberg to Bamberg.
The Dresden–Werdau railway is an electrified, double-track main line in the German state of Saxony. It runs from Dresden via Freiberg, Chemnitz and Zwickau to Werdau wye, where it joins the Leipzig-Hof railway.

The Annaberg-Buchholz–Flöha railway, also called the Zschopau Valley Railway (Zschopautalbahn) is a branch line in the German state of Saxony. It links Annaberg-Buchholz lower station and the Vejprty–Annaberg-Buchholz railway line to Flöha, running through the Zschopau Valley via Wolkenstein and Zschopau. It has been operated since 2001 by the DB Regio subsidiary Erzgebirgsbahn.
The Gera Süd–Weischlitz railway is a main railway line in the German federal states of Thuringia and Saxony, which was originally built and operated by the Saxon-Thuringian Railway Company. It runs in the valley of the White Elster from Gera via Greiz and Plauen to Weischlitz.
The Neukieritzsch–Chemnitz railway is a line in the German state of Saxony. It branches in Neukieritzsch from the Leipzig–Hof railway and runs via Borna and Geithain to Chemnitz Main station. It is part of a long-distance connection between Leipzig and Chemnitz. The route is electrified between Neukieritzsch and Geithain.
Eilenburg station is one of two railway stations in the district town of Eilenburg in the German state of Saxony. It is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 4 station. The station is located on the southeastern edge of the town.

Freital-Hainsberg station is a station on the Dresden–Werdau railway in the district of Hainsberg of the municipality of Freital in the German state of Saxony. The Weißeritz Valley Railway branches off to Kipsdorf from the station. Since 31 May 1992, the station has been served by the Dresden S-Bahn.
Freital-Potschappel station is a station on the Dresden–Werdau railway in the district of Potschappel of the municipality of Freital in the German state of Saxony. From 1884 to 1972, the station was the starting point of the 750 mm gauge Freital-Potschappel–Nossen railway. Today, Freital-Potschappel serves in particular as an access point to line S3 of the Dresden S-Bahn.
Tharandt station is a station on the Dresden–Werdau railway in the town of Tharandt in the German state of Saxony. Until the electrification of the line in 1966, Tharandt was an important stopover for the attachment of bank engines for operations on the Steil ramp up to Klingenberg-Colmnitz. Today, the station has only significance for the regional traffic. It is the terminus for most, but not all trains of Dresden S-Bahn's line S3.
The Pockau-Lengefeld–Neuhausen railway, one of two lines also called the Flöha Valley Railway, is a branch line in the German state of Saxony. It runs in the valley of the Flöha from Pockau via Olbernhau to Neuhausen. Since 2001, the route has been operated by Erzgebirgsbahn, part of Deutsche Bahn's RegioNetz subsidiary.
Chemnitz-Hilbersdorf is the name of a former freight yard and a halt on the Dresden–Werdau railway in the city of Chemnitz in the German state of Saxony. The halt is today served by Regionalbahn services on the Dresden–Zwickau route as well as by local trains of City-Bahn Chemnitz to Hainichen and central Chemnitz (C15). Both lines run hourly, together they offer a service approximately every 30 minutes in each direction.
Wüstenbrand station is a station on the Dresden–Werdau railway in the south west of the German State of Saxony. In the past, it was a terminus for the secondary lines to Limbach-Oberfrohna and Neuoelsnitz. Currently, it serves as a through station.
The Leipzig–Geithain railway is a main line in the German state of Saxony. It runs from Leipzig via Bad Lausick to Geithain. It is part of a long-distance railway from Leipzig to Chemnitz. The line is not electrified and is essentially single track. The only section of double-track is an about 900 m-long section between the Leipzig-Paunsdorf crossover and Leipzig Werkstättenstraße.
Chemnitz Küchwald station is located in the district of Furth in Chemnitz, Saxony, Germany on the Neukieritzsch–Chemnitz railway. It is an important station to supply the Chemnitz Nord co-generation power station with fuels.
The Chemnitz Küchwald/Abzw Chemnitz-Furth–Chemnitz-Hilbersdorf railway used to be two short freight lines on which freight trains from Geithain and Leipzig, from Wechselburg and from Obergrüna as well as from Riesa and Döbeln could bypass Chemnitz main station and get directly to Chemnitz-Hilbersdorf goods station.
Breisach station is a station in Breisach in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is now the starting point of the Breisach Railway to Freiburg and the Kaiserstuhl Railway (Kaiserstuhlbahn) to Riegel. The Breisach Railway crossed the Upper Rhine, running from Breisach to Colmar in France, until the destruction of the Breisach rail bridge in 1945.
