"Denes nad Makedonija" is the national anthem of North Macedonia. Todor Skalovski composed the music and Vlado Maleski wrote the lyrics of the song in the early 1940s. It was adopted as the national anthem in 1992, almost a year after the state's independence from Yugoslavia. Before its adoption as a national anthem, it was used as the regional anthem of the Socialist Republic of Macedonia, a constituent state of Yugoslavia, before it became the national anthem of the Republic of North Macedonia.

The large majority of Macedonians identify as Eastern Orthodox Christians, who share a cultural and historical "Orthodox Byzantine–Slavic heritage" with their neighbours. About two-thirds of all ethnic Macedonians live in North Macedonia; there are also communities in a number of other countries.

Walden Galleria is a regional shopping mall located in Cheektowaga, a suburb of Buffalo, New York located east of Interstate 90 and New York State Thruway exit 52 off Walden Avenue. The Walden Galleria comprises more than 1,600,000 square feet (150,000 m2) of retail space, with 170 stores on two levels, including a food court and a movie theater. In 2021, it was listed among the top 20 most visited shopping centers in America, attracting over 23 million visitors from the US and Canada. The mall is owned and managed by The Pyramid Companies of Syracuse, New York, the same management firm which developed it. The mall features Macy's, JCPenney, Primark, Dick's Sporting Goods, Best Buy, in addition to a 16-screen Regal Cinemas which also features 4DX.

As of September 2017, Cadillac Fairview's portfolio consisted of 60% Canadian retail and 26% Canadian office buildings. Cadillac Fairview is wholly owned by the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan.
Macedonia was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 with the song "Life", composed by Jovan Jovanov, with lyrics by Ilija Nikolovski, and performed by Toše Proeski. The Macedonian participating broadcaster, Macedonian Radio Television (MRT), selected its entry through Skopje Fest 2004, after having previously selected the performer internally. The broadcaster returned to the contest after a one-year absence following their relegation from 2003 as one of the bottom five entrants in 2002. Toše Proeski's appointment was announced on 7 June 2003. Eight songs competed in the competition on 14 February 2004 where "Angel si ti" (Ангел си ти) was selected following the combination of votes from an eleven-member jury panel, Proeski himself and a public televote. The song was later translated from Macedonian to English for Eurovision and was titled "Life".

The 2000–01 Macedonian Football Cup was the 9th season of Macedonia's football knockout competition. Sloga Jugomagnat were the defending champions, having won their second title the year before after reaching their fifth Final in a row. The 2000–01 champions were Pelister who beat the defending champions to claim their first title after twice been runners-up in the first 2 Macedonian Cups in 1992–93 & 1993–94.

North Macedonia, officially the Republic of North Macedonia, is a landlocked country in Southeast Europe. It constitutes approximately the northern third of the larger geographical region of Macedonia. Skopje, the capital and largest city, is home to a quarter of the country's population of 1.83 million. The majority of the residents are ethnic Macedonians, a South Slavic people. Albanians form a significant minority at around 25%, followed by Turks, Roma, Serbs, Bosniaks, Aromanians and a few other minorities.
Visitors to North Macedonia must obtain a visa from one of the North Macedonia diplomatic missions unless they are citizens of one of the visa-exempt countries.
CityPlace Burlington was a formerly enclosed shopping mall. Located on the Church Street Marketplace open-air mall in Burlington, Vermont, United States, it opened in 1976. The mall's anchor stores were Macy's and L.L.Bean. The western portion of the mall closed in fall 2017 for redevelopment. The eastern portion remains standing but shuttered as of 2022.

Operational from 1966 to 1984, it was the first air-conditioned, enclosed shopping mall in Northern California, though it has been an office complex since the 1980s. In 2013, Google rented the entire 500,000 square feet (46,000 m2) property and ultimately purchased it in 2016 for $225 million and is known as the company's Building RLS1.
