This is the list of special economic zones (SEZ) in the Philippines created and mandated by the Congress of the Philippines through legislative enactments both by the House of Representatives and Philippine Senate. The list includes general SEZs and the more specific free trade zones and free ports, managed either by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority or held privately.

Zamboanga was a province of the Philippines located in the western region of the southern island of Mindanao, Philippines.
In the Philippines, regions are administrative divisions that primarily serve to coordinate planning and organize national government services across multiple local government units (LGUs). Most national government offices provide services through their regional branches instead of having direct provincial or city offices. Regional offices are usually but not necessarily located in the city designated as the regional center.
A city is one of the units of local government in the Philippines. All Philippine cities are chartered cities, whose existence as corporate and administrative entities is governed by their own specific municipal charters in addition to the Local Government Code of 1991, which specifies their administrative structure and powers. As of July 8, 2023, there are 149 cities.
Southern Tagalog, designated as Region IV, was an administrative region in the Philippines that comprised the current regions of Calabarzon and Mimaropa, the province of Aurora in Central Luzon, and most of the National Capital Region. It was the largest region in the Philippines in terms of both land area and population. After its partition on May 17, 2002, Southern Tagalog continues to exist as a cultural-geographical region.
Davao del Norte, officially the Province of Davao del Norte, is a province in the Philippines located in the Davao Region in Mindanao. Its capital and largest city is Tagum. The province also includes Samal Island to the south in Davao Gulf.

Midsalip, officially the Municipality of Midsalip, is a 4th class municipality in the province of Zamboanga del Sur, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 33,711 people.
Ramon Magsaysay, officially the Municipality of Ramon Magsaysay, is a 4th class municipality in the province of Zamboanga del Sur, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 27,280 people.
The legislative districts of Basilan are the representations of the province of Basilan in the various national legislatures of the Philippines. The province is currently represented in the lower house of the Congress of the Philippines through its lone congressional district.

The Zamboanga City Special Economic Zone (or ZamboEcoZone), otherwise known by its corporate name as Zamboanga Freeport Authority (ZFA), is a special economic zone located in Zamboanga City in the province of Zamboanga del Sur in Mindanao, Philippines. It is the only economic zone located in Western Mindanao.
The sub-provinces of the Philippines were a political and administrative division of the Philippines. The sub-provinces were a part of a larger "regular" province and residents of a sub-province participated in provincial elections of the parent province.
Quezon's 1st congressional district is one of the four congressional districts of the Philippines in the province of Quezon, formerly Tayabas. It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 1916 and earlier in the Philippine Assembly from 1907 to 1916. The district consists of the city of Tayabas and adjacent municipalities of Burdeos, General Nakar, Infanta, Jomalig, Lucban, Mauban, Pagbilao, Panukulan, Patnanungan, Polillo, Real and Sampaloc. It also included the municipalities of Candelaria, Dolores, Lucena, San Antonio, Sariaya, and Tiaong, and the then-sub-province of Aurora until 1972 and the municipality of Laguimanoc from 1917 to 1922. It is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Wilfrido Mark M. Enverga of the Nationalist People's Coalition (NPC).
Zamboanga del Sur's at-large congressional district is an obsolete congressional district that encompassed the area of Zamboanga del Sur in the Philippines. It was represented in the House of Representatives from 1953 to 1972 and in the Regular Batasang Pambansa from 1984 to 1986. The province of Zamboanga del Sur was created as a result of the partition of Zamboanga in 1952 and elected its first representative provincewide at-large during the 1953 Philippine House of Representatives elections. Roseller T. Lim, who served as representative of Zamboanga's at-large congressional district during the partition, was this district's first representative. The district remained a single-member district until the dissolution of the lower house in 1972. It was later absorbed by the multi-member Region IX's at-large district for the national parliament in 1978. In 1984, provincial and city representations were restored and Zamboanga del Sur elected three members for the regular parliament with a separate representation created for Zamboanga City. The district was abolished following the 1987 reapportionment to establish three districts under a new constitution.
Zamboanga del Sur's 1st congressional district is one of the two congressional districts of the Philippines in the province of Zamboanga del Sur. It has been represented in the House of Representatives since 1987. The district encompasses the northern half of the province consisting of its provincial capital city of Pagadian and the municipalities of Aurora, Dumingag, Josefina, Labangan, Mahayag, Midsalip, Molave, Ramon Magsaysay, Sominot, Tambulig and Tukuran. It is currently represented in the 18th Congress by Divina Grace Yu of the Lakas–CMD.
