List of special economic zones in the Philippines

This is the list of special economic zones (SEZ) in the Philippines created and mandated by the Congress of the Philippines through legislative enactments both by the House of Representatives and Philippine Senate. The list includes general SEZs and the more specific free trade zones and free ports, managed either by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority or held privately.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Zamboanga City Special Economic Zone</span>

The Zamboanga City Special Economic Zone (or ZamboEcoZone), otherwise known by its corporate name as Zamboanga Freeport Authority (ZFA), is a special economic zone located in Zamboanga City in the province of Zamboanga del Sur in Mindanao, Philippines. It is the only economic zone located in Western Mindanao.

The sub-provinces of the Philippines were a political and administrative division of the Philippines. The sub-provinces were a part of a larger "regular" province and residents of a sub-province participated in provincial elections of the parent province.

Zamboanga del Sur's at-large congressional district is an obsolete congressional district that encompassed the area of Zamboanga del Sur in the Philippines. It was represented in the House of Representatives from 1953 to 1972 and in the Regular Batasang Pambansa from 1984 to 1986. The province of Zamboanga del Sur was created as a result of the partition of Zamboanga in 1952 and elected its first representative provincewide at-large during the 1953 Philippine House of Representatives elections. Roseller T. Lim, who served as representative of Zamboanga's at-large congressional district during the partition, was this district's first representative. The district remained a single-member district until the dissolution of the lower house in 1972. It was later absorbed by the multi-member Region IX's at-large district for the national parliament in 1978. In 1984, provincial and city representations were restored and Zamboanga del Sur elected three members for the regular parliament with a separate representation created for Zamboanga City. The district was abolished following the 1987 reapportionment to establish three districts under a new constitution.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Zamboanga del Sur's 1st congressional district</span>

Zamboanga del Sur's 1st congressional district is one of the two congressional districts of the Philippines in the province of Zamboanga del Sur. It has been represented in the House of Representatives since 1987. The district encompasses the northern half of the province consisting of its provincial capital city of Pagadian and the municipalities of Aurora, Dumingag, Josefina, Labangan, Mahayag, Midsalip, Molave, Ramon Magsaysay, Sominot, Tambulig and Tukuran. It is currently represented in the 18th Congress by Divina Grace Yu of the PDP–Laban.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Zamboanga del Sur's 2nd congressional district</span>

Zamboanga del Sur's 2nd congressional district is one of the two congressional districts of the Philippines in the province of Zamboanga del Sur. It has been represented in the House of Representatives since 1987. The district encompasses the southern half of the province consisting of the municipalities of Bayog, Dimataling, Dinas, Dumalinao, Guipos, Kumalarang, Lakewood, Lapuyan, Margosatubig, Pitogo, San Miguel, San Pablo, Tabina, Tigbao and Vincenzo A. Sagun. It is currently represented in the 18th Congress by Leonardo Babasa Jr. of the PDP–Laban.
